Solace Day Spa Alexandria VA

My husband and I came today to get him a pedi and myself a basic pedi and full set. He enjoyed himself and so did I for the most part. Towards the end of my set, I told the gentleman that there was white left on my nail (before he cured it) and the gentleman just waved it off…. Dismissed it. Well here is the photo of the left hand which was great and the right hand- 3 out of 5 fingers have white on it as you can see in the photo. Kinda disappointed that both hands couldn’t be great especially when it was an easy and quick fix.

*****UPDATE****** The salon called me back to correct the mistakes and I am soooo relieved. I’ll be back ♥️ ***** I wish I could leave zero stars. Worst experience of MY LIFE. I came in with a friend who was here from out of town, they charged about $400 and I have never had a manicure so ugly. The guy tried twice and couldn’t do it so another lady tried and she rushed and told me to come back the next day. Are you kidding?! lol to have paid THAT MUCH and have had such awful service and spent 3 hours there is soooo insane. I was so embarrassed to have brought my friend there who spent so much money and didn’t like his manicure either. I have to share photos. For the future if you can’t do nails, practice more or just don’t because it’s a scam to have people come in and pay for something like this. They also kept telling me they couldn’t build a little length with powder which should’ve let me know what they really meant was they didn’t know how to work with gel at all. Update: the gel polish chipped the next day.

Dora is the greatest. She did so well on the design of my nails. Her personality is also superb… She is a WINNER!!!

Had an amazing experience here! Staff was pleasant and patient. I picked a bad color initially and they helped me pick an NEW color for the occasion. Will definitely be coming back!

I requested one style at first, and I also show a picture of the style I wanted to the lady, and her response was ok, when she was about to finish, and was going to start to do the style I requested, she saids i will do another style because I can't do the style you showed me , and in my head was like ok you should told me before, but I was trying to be polite and I said do what you can, mi nails came out horrible nothing like the style I requested, but that's not the worst part when I asked how much ? the price was to high, I don't mind to pay for something beautiful and worth it, but this was crazy, my friend and my daughter get their nail done too and doesn't even like their nails, no one get the requested style, the lady at the front was charging us 20 dollars more of the price, and one of the others ladies who works there told her why she was charging us a lot, and them she saids that French is more expensive and the lady was like you crazy bla bla bla etc, they were arguing back and forth, and they end it up giving us $20 dollars back, i paid my for my ugly French nails $80 my daughters nails French as well $80 And my friend $80 too. Plus my daughters asked for her toes nails painted gel and only for the painted toes nail I paid $40 and honestly the price was not worth it. I will never come to this place again + she took 2 hours for my ugly full set, i know many places around the area that their works worth the price, but I wanted to try something new and I totally regret it .
