Beach Waves-A Family Salon

I have been seeing Krystal at Beach Waves for years & would never think of switching. Krystal is an amazing stylist who takes her time to listen & truly cares about her clients. Beach Waves is a small salon but one big happy family & they all make you feel very welcome!

Have to strongly disagree with the review of JENNIFER. She has been doing my hair for several years. She is one of the kindest people I have ever dealt with. Always get compliments on my hair. I would STRONGLY recommend her to anyone seeking an experienced reputable stylist.

DO NOT USE JENNIFER I'm a very loyal person and easy to get along with having had my last hairdresser do my hair from the age of 16 to 60....yes 44 YEARS. After going there every 3 weeks for close to 3 years to get my hair cut and colored, gave her a 20% tip, never canceling and always there and getting a hug and kiss goodbye I was dismissed as a client BY JENNIFER after I had words with the receptionist who was so nasty to me and hung up on me. I then called back and like a child she wouldn't pick up the phone. The receptionist refused to tell Jennifer that after she was done with her client I wanted to talk to her about my appointment being scheduled wrong by them because I was looking at a card with the next day as the appointment not the one that day the receptionist called and said I missed. Three times she asked me to reschedule verses giving Jennifer a simple message to call me. Jennifer called and told me to come in the next day at 1:45 versus my 2:00 appointment. Funny how they had nearly the exact appointment available when normally you have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for Jennifer to reschedule because of her Limited schedule. She then had the manager call me the next day to say that Jennifer was not keeping the appointment and she felt it best that I not come back. She would not get on the phone with me. She knew I had to get my hair done and I had to go out of state the next day. She didn't care and she left me high and dry. Apparently she thinks that the receptionist refusing to give her a message acting nasty and hanging up on me (when I did not do anything out of line such as cursing) is appropriate??? I've never even seen that receptionist smile or have any level of personality. She must know someone as she certainly does not belong in that position. Everything works out for a reason because slowly but surely over the 3 years my color had changed so much from what it used to be and I didn't realize it wasn't my hair. It was her and the way she was doing it. When I went to NY everyone asked me what I did to my hair and my haircut because it looked the best it had in 3 years. I said I got a new hairdresser who actually knows something about Red Auburn coloring because she turned me into copper blaming my hair saying it wouldn't take it. So if you want someone who will stab you in the back leave you high and dry and thinks you should put up with nastiness at the reception counter and get hung up on and then doesn't really know how to do color and blames it on your hair then Jennifer's your girl.

Love this salon! Girls are all wonderful! Jaime has been doing my hair recently and she is an absolute ROCKSTAR!!

I have been going to Kim @ Beach Waves going on about 10 years! She is the best! I always get so many compliments on my hair. I would definitely recommend her to anyone though I do constantly get asked who does your hair!
