5th Nail Lounge

I came here to get gel x nails done. They were beautiful and looked amazing. The woman who did my nails did an amazing job. However, I have to leave this place a 2 because of the removal process. My nails before were a lot stronger. However, after getting the gel x nails removed, my nails are now sensitive and thin. They used 3 different filers to get my nails off which ultimately led to the entirety of my nail being damaged and thin. I am a bit skeptical on what chemicals are in the glue that they use that require so much filing for the nails to come off. For some transparency, I would recommend this place because the people there actually do a great job with their work, I cannot deny that. However, the materials (the glue) ruins your natural nails. It’s going to take some time until I can get my nails done because they now have a lot of healing to do. I am not sure what my experience would have been if I did acrylic or dip but as for gel x, I do not recommend.

I took a chance today and walked into this salon and I am SO glad I did! For years, my sister, mom and I went to the nail salon at southpoint because the owner was so sweet and their work was amazing, and once that salon was sold to new owners, we were so sad. But when I walked into this salon today there she was! I was so so presently surprised and couldn’t believe it! She is the sweetest, kindest woman ever! I am so happy I found her salon! I got my nails done and just as it used to be, it was 10/10 amazing work with the sweetest people! The tech that did my nails was Winny and she was so sweet and did such a great job! I will be coming back to see them every time I need my nails done! ❤️❤️

Went here for the first time a week ago and the service was very friendly. I had two different technicians, one of my pedicure and another for my gel manicure. My pedicure was fantastic but my manicure was not good. In less than a week, the gel polish has already chipped on two nails (ignore my fading spray tan in the photo) and I don’t think the tech removed any cuticles. I should’ve known better when she finished in less than 20 minutes. Again, service was friendly but the quality of my services makes me hesitant to return, especially for the price.
