She asked questions and gave honest answers and opinions to make sure we were on the same page before she began. And the salon itself was so beautiful and inviting. 2025-12-12I have been getting my hair done at Aqua since I moved to town about four years ago. While I wasn’t thrilled about the added styling fee for color-only appointments, which was added not too long ago, I continued coming because I enjoy my stylist, Janell. I will add, this additional fee is on top of a small service fee I'm also being charged to tip my stylist, which was not something in effect when I started going to Aqua. Recently, many of the curly-hair products that worked well for my hair have been removed, and the replacements don’t perform the same. If I’m paying an additional styling fee, I would expect the products to work well and not require me to rewash and restyle my hair a few hours later to fix it. I hope the salon will truly reconsider both the product selection for curly-hair clients and the styling fee structure if I am having to restyle my hair a few hours later.

She asked specific questions & was attentive to what I wanted-needed. She gave me suggestions showing her knowledge & great expertise. She did excellent & was very efficient! I will be back to see her!
