Honestly I walked in so excited, and thought i was going to love this place and it would become my new go to. But it was truly one of the worst experiences. I originally had an appointment for Sunday for a gel fill, in which I specified I needed a fill and not just a gel polish. I called in Friday and asked if there were any appointments available instead of Sunday, I was given a 2:45, got there and was waiting- no problem she’s behind, I understand. Then I was walked to someone’s station. She gets started and then called over the front desk and told her to translate to me that I need a gel fill and not a gel manicure- which again I knew and told the receptionist that I was aware that’s what I needed and thought I booked for that but if she couldn’t do it, it was okay. The nail tech caught an attitude and said she didn’t have time for this and didn’t want to do it ( in Spanish- but she didn’t think I understood) I told the receptionist if she can’t or doesn’t want to do it it’s okay, can she wipe off the product she put in my nails and I’ll go somewhere else it’s really not a problem for me and said this numerous times. The receptionist kept reassuring me that it wasn’t a problem and that she will do it. Honestly after the third time of me repeating myself, I didn’t even want my nails done by this girl, I could tell she was annoyed but receptionist kept saying it’s fine she’ll do it and walked away. Now came time to fill my nails and she called the receptionist over again and told her to tell me she didn’t have the gel fill color that matched mine I said no problem I’ll just leave and went to grab my bag and receptionist again said no I’ll go look for something it’s fine. The nail tech was filing my nails and prepping them but everything she grabbed it was slammed on the counter and done with anger and annoyance. So I sat there dealing with it, my nails were now filled and thick, she barley filled them, called the receptionist over to see the pretty color from the hard gel, and at this point I guess you could tell in my face I hated being there and they were trying to make me feel better by telling me the nails look so pretty. Meanwhile telling the receptionist that the hard gel is old and expired and it didn’t work but she had to do it to get me out - all in Spanish so I wouldn’t understand but I did. She put polish on my nails, the layers were so thick, and she barley let them dry, my thumb was still wet and she was mad at me for it not drying and now she had to redo it, and she said look it’s 4:20, we close 4:00. I didn’t know this was a Jewish salon and that they closed early, if that was the case why didn’t they said something. I understand the Friday Shabbos holiday but why take me and tell me it’s okay if they had to leave, I’m not Jewish and was in no rush but I’ll understand if the business is. Well she finally said you’re done, hurry go home go go go, it’s late, no massage today, maybe next time. Honestly there won’t be a next time!!!! I was so disappointed in the service and how I was treated being a first time customer there, and on top of that my nails were heavy thick and bad looking. My nails lasted all of 4 days, and the polish was peeling off from how thick the layers were. Mind you I paid a total of $95 with tip, and had to go to another salon 4 days later to get them redone and pay again 🙄 I’m in the service/ beauty industry, and hate leaving bad reviews, but this place left me so upset, disappointed, and frustrated. I will never go back that’s for sure!!!

I had an amazing experience at the Glossary! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was clean, calming, and beautiful. The team greeted me warmly and created an inviting, comfortable atmosphere from the start. My pedicure was absolutely perfect — the technician took her time, paid great attention to detail, and gave the most relaxing foot massage. The polish application was flawless and has lasted beautifully! I really appreciated how hygienic and thoughtful the entire process was — from the sanitized tools to the comfy chairs and soothing ambiance. You can tell they truly care about their clients and take pride in their work. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and happy. Highly recommend Glossary for anyone looking to treat themselves to a top-notch pedicure experience!

I received a Gel Manicure from Valentine. She was very patient and thorough and kind and welcomed any questions I had for her. Which I love. I always appreciate a welcoming and kind disposition from someone I am receiving a service from. I live upstate and traveled almost an hour to get here and it was worth it to me. I used to go to a really great place in the Manhattan which was more out of the way for me, but Glossary is surely just as great so far. Really glad I found a new go-to that’s closer to home. The space is beautiful, very peaceful, and extremely clean! Which I appreciate so much. I saw the staff sanitizing the door handles. There were soap suds in the toilet bowl. And they had one of my favorite fragrances in the bathroom for their soap and lotion. Jo Malone. I adore this place so far. Looking forward to the expansion of their additional services, like the Russian Manicure

Incredible place! I really enjoyed my experience! To begin with the ambience, the decor and vibe! And Katie's facial was so professional and so enjoyable that I didn't want to leave! She used great products and techniques! I really felt like she opened all my pores and treated my skin well! My skin looked and felt amazing afterwards! definitely reccommrnded!!

The best luxury spa in the area. I come here every month for a nail-pedicure and powder manicure I can't find enough words to describe the experience, and I've been to many places. When you get in, you feel so much more relaxed, calmer. Ask Doris for everything nails - she is the best!!!! Also, waxing and facials are so good here. Clean, beautiful, extraordinary service - Super recommend - Thank you for opening this incredible place 🌸🤍✨
