Imperial Nails Montclair NJ

I’ve been coming to Imperial Nails for close to 10 years. So of course, I opted to patronize the salon for an upcoming special occasion. I typically do not get gel nails (I usually do a regular manicure). However, for the special occasion I wanted to try something different. I asked if the technician could take care of my natural nails with the gel manicure. I was assured that the utmost care would be taken to protect my natural nails. I got the gel manicure, which was fine btw, and came back to the salon 2 weeks later to have the gel removed. I was told to book the appointment with my original nail tech for a soak off. The tech was in a hurry that day and did not take all of the gel off. When I came back to the salon to show that the gel residue was still on my nails, I was dismissed and told I was talking too much during the previous appointment and thus did not hear the technician’s comments about the soak off. Instead of comping the second soak off procedure, I was asked to pay again to fully remove the gel (something that should have been done the first time). On top of all this, my natural nails look awful. They have bumps and ridges and are thin and cracking—everything I was trying to avoid from the beginning. I’m disappointed in the level of customer care and communication. Suffice to say, I will not be returning to Imperial Nails.

I love this salon!! So clean, and they are very attentive to detail! They have given me the best spa pedicure I've ever gotten, so detailed, and comes out perfect! I get my nails done once a month and I always love them, thank you Alba! And the guy who gives massages is great! I've been coming for months, my only complaint is that it's a bit pricier than other places I've been.

I have been coming to this salon for over a year and I will never use anyone else! Alba is so talented!! I just took my niece for her back to school nails and Alba crushed it!! Such a great environment and clean place. Love love love!
