Lumi Nails Lounge Apple Valley

I loved this place. The guy doing my nails was so kind, his name is Kevin. The pricing is very reasonable for how nice the place is. Love it!! Photos are from 1 week after the appointment. Lasted through homecoming dance. Love them!!

Have been here twice and the staff has been incredible! I am able to book online easily and just call if I need to modify my appointment. The staff is very accommodating to making the customers happy. I also love the atmosphere in Lumi Nails. I appreciate how many different pedicures are offered and that the staff is very patient with me. I look forward to being a continued client.

I've been to lumi a total of 3 times and each time has been great! I'll be honest, the first time I visited back in February, the nail tech was pretty new/still learning but I was a walk-in so that was kind of on me...she was very nice, kept checking on me throughout the process, and overall the customer service was great. My nail design was a pink gel ombre with little heart details and she struggled with the fading, but it wasn't a big deal to me. The overall look was great with only 2 nails being slightly off on the shape, but they lasted almost 3 months intact, before they finally began to peel! The next 2 times I specifically booked with Mimi as I wanted a more complicated design, and she did an amazing job! She was great at making suggestions and being honest about her capabilities, and gave me her best version of the designs I requested (this is my preference anyway), which I loved!!! She recommended I book extra design time for future appointments so she can spend more time on design work and will definitely do so for my next appointment! My current nails are the green with flower details and they've only lasted about a month this time, but its been extremely hot and I've been working with my hands a lot, especially with water, but they've remained strong due to the work so I'm happy! I did get a spearmint pedicure and gel color set, and it was very nice and relaxing. My chair didn't work and my nail tech didn't tell me about that feature, but overall I was relaxed and I loved how my toes looked and felt at the end. I paid about $80 (not including tip) my 2nd visit and $170ish on the 3rd visit due to the pedicure, which is very decent imo.

I had such an amazing experience and my nails turned out absolutely perfect! I loved them, and my nail tech, Tracy, was so nice and checked up on me throughout the entire process!! I’m 100% going to be going back, 10/10 recommend!!

I have gotten my nails done my whole life and gel-x for 5 years now and I have never had this happen. I came in for a full gel-x set by Mimi and 2 days later, a nail completely popped off fully intact. I came in the next day and they fixed the finger. Two days later another nail on another finger pops off. Never in my life has the is ever happened. My sets would last 4-5 weeks never breaking. I just moved from San Diego and was looking for a new nail shop and this was closest to my house. What a huge disappointed and I paid a whopping $85 plus tip for this set. Poorly shaped, poorly done and overpriced. I had very intricate designs before for the same price, all they did was chrome and polka dots. Now I have to go pay another shop to remove them. Set didn’t even last a week, 5 days total. I am so pissed off. Do not go here. Also I fully speak and understand Vietnamese and I overheard them arguing about one of their techs overcharging a customer because they had to fix “2 toes”. Completely overpriced, horrible work and unprofessional. Save your money and go somewhere that actually knows what their doing.
