As a licensed hairstylist, I take safety and sanitation extremely seriously, so trust me when I say this salon violated multiple basic laws and industry standards. The very first red flag was the nail tech grabbing an already-opened, half-used pot of builder gel and just slapping it onto my nails with zero regard for contamination. The second — and honestly the most alarming — was how aggressively she went at my cuticles. She wasn’t just “cleaning them up”; she was literally breaking the skin. That is illegal, unsanitary, painful, and completely unacceptable in any professional setting. What should have been a simple appointment dragged on for an hour and a half. When she finally finished, my nails were uneven, my cuticles were damaged, and my fingers were throbbing. I walked out embarrassed and upset because this is nowhere near the standard any client deserves. I don’t know if this is how the entire salon operates or if their hiring and training process is just that poor, but either way, I will not be returning. I will also be contacting the state board because what happened to me is not only unprofessional — it’s unsafe. I paid $80 to have my nails and fingers completely ruined. And no, I didn’t ask for a refund, because as many people know, most nail salons refuse to give them even when the work is clearly unacceptable.

Bao did an absolutely wonderful job! I had my nails done in this style at a different nail salon that was completely wrong. Bao was so kind and followed the picture that I showed him exactly to fix my nails and now I absolutely love them! Very good chrome too. I 100% recommend coming here to see Bao!

Update: The nails popped off very easily just 2-5 days later which I have never had happen with Gel X at other salons, and unfortunately, the salon was closed early when I arrived on Thursday to see if the missing ones could be redone. This was my first time at this salon, and Leah was fantastic! She was super friendly, gentle on my cuticles, did a great job with my Gel X nails, and perfectly achieved the silver chrome look and almond shape I wanted! I would definitely go back to her in the future.

I had a terrible experience here on October 1st. The technician over-filed my natural nail so badly that it became damaged and painful, and another salon confirmed the injury was caused during this visit. When I contacted the salon, they were dismissive and more concerned about money than accountability. I’m not asking for a refund — I just want people to be aware of how careless the service was and how poorly the situation was handled afterward. Hopefully, they take this as a warning to train their staff better before someone else gets hurt.
