The salon itself is beautiful - clean, modern, and relaxing. From the moment you step into the salon to the overall experience, you can feel the dedication to excellence and a wonderful customer experience the leadership strives for. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants are friendly and professional. I’ve had such a great experience with Katy Deering cutting my hair. Katy’s great at men’s cuts, which isn’t always the case at a typical salon. I unfortunately got sick and had a bad accident as a result of the symptoms that left me with a head injury and damaged section of my hair. Her compassion, knowledge and creativity have really helped give me a hair style and cut that has helped to hide the wound area during the healing process. My son and I have been going to Katy for well over 10 years now and have grown to call her my friend. I believe the loyalty and friendship built over these past years says it best! If you’re looking for a great haircut, comfortable, customer focused experience and a great head massage 💆‍♂️ lol, I would definitely recommend giving The Retreat salon and Katy Deering the opportunity to handle your next haircut!

I wasn’t sure what to expect at first since Katy usually specializes in women’s cuts, but I walked out seriously impressed. She took her time, asked questions to make sure she got the style right, and delivered one of the cleanest cuts I’ve had. You can tell she really cares about detail and making sure you leave looking your best. Great service, great atmosphere, and honestly one of the best men’s cuts I’ve gotten in a long time. I’ll definitely be coming back to Katy.
