I arrived between 4:00–5:00 PM and was never offered a beverage, not even water. I was seated with a nail tech named Linda and immediately showed a reference photo of what I wanted. I was clear that I did not want the brown color shown and needed help choosing an alternative. Linda confirmed she could do the design and quoted me a price, which I confirmed twice. I was not asked what nail type I preferred; I was simply told, “You want Gel-X,” without discussion of options. During application, a mistake was made on the middle finger of my left hand, which had to be removed and reapplied. While my nails were being painted, another nail tech stared at my hands intensely, making me uncomfortable. Later, that same tech inserted herself into my service and commented on my nails without acknowledging me or introducing herself. This felt disrespectful. I was not shown where to wash my hands and had to guess. When it came time for polish, only one color was presented, which I had already said I did not want. I allowed it briefly only because I thought it would complement the chrome shown in my reference photo. After completion, I was told the chrome would cost extra, despite the reference being shown before pricing. I declined to pay more and asked for the color to be removed. At that point, the attitude shifted, and my service became uncomfortable. To be clear, this was my first nail appointment in over two years after recovering from a hand injury, chosen as a birthday treat. I also planned to return for a pedicure, which will not be happening. Less than 48 hours later, the very nail that had to be fixed broke off the next morning before 7 AM. I paid $65 for clear, unfinished nails, and the quality did not hold. I will not be returning. Photos are included for transparency. THANKS LINDA

I love Inspire Nails-Bowie. Most of all I love Ryan, who is a fantastic nail tech! I am a loyal client and actual followed him here from a previous salon. I like my nails to look neat and natural and Ryan consistently delivers without me even having to tell him what to do. He remembers! The salon itself is very nice and clean and all the staff have great personalities and make your experience enjoyable.

I call her The Foot Doctor! Every time I come with an ingrown nail, she takes it out painlessly. Bamboo is very clean and detailed with her work. You can tell that she takes pride in her service. I get the works when I go there. Mani, pedi, and eyebrows. If she’s busy, I will wait! She’s the best! Kisha
