Precious Nails & Spa - Salem NH

I have been going to this salon for about a year now and have received a variety of manicure and pedicure services (eg, dip, builder gel, spa pedi) and have only had wonderful experiences here. I have seen several techs and the pic is just of one set of Gel-x completed by Lily who is an amazing meticulous, efficient, and responsive to customer needs. I have also seen Lee who does amazing work with nail art as well. Their prices are very reasonable, final product is immaculate, it is well ventilated, and all stations and the space overall are clean and well-maintained compared to three other nail places I have tried in the Merrimack Valley. Highly recommend this salon!

Really disappointed in my experience here. Not from the area, here for my best friend of 23 years wedding. Due to some work issues I couldn’t get my nails done before flying here. Made the appointment a few days in advance for first thing when they open. Asked for a mani and pedi: French. The first one didn’t save as it didn’t say confirmed so I did it again. In the notes I stated “I need to be out by 12:00”. I had gotten a voicemail to confirm my appointment yesterday but I was in the air on the plane so I didn’t see it until after they closed. They wanted to confirm how many people as they saw the multiple reservations and also said having me out by 12:00 pm would be no issue at all. I got to my appointment on time at 10:00 am. I stood there waiting then was told to check in. I had let the girl at the desk know once again what I needed and she repeated my note to me about being done by 12:00. I told her yes I have to be done no late than that because I have to get the wedding rehearsal. I told her if she didn’t think it was possible no biggie I just could do a basic manicure and a toe polish change no pedicure. She told me she would check with the nail tech. I stood there for another 10 minutes as she ran around, also answering the phone and apologizing to me. She told the tech and she said no big deal she could have me done in time. Once in the pedicure chair she came over and said she needed to switch techs as some other lady was pissed off? So once again I was delayed and waited for someone else to take over. As someone who struggles with anxiety I watched the clock tick and it was coming to 11:20 and my pedicure was not done and my manicure was not started. Some lady asked me gel or dip? I said whatever is faster as I have to be done by 12. I saw panic set into my techs eyes as she rushed my pedicure. She started my manicure and before I knew it my 12:00 alarm on my phone was going off. She offered for me to “come back to finish” as I instructed her I couldn’t do so. I asked politely if she could get someone else to do one hand and her do the other to speed up the process and someone helped for about 2 minutes then left. They weren’t busy as multiple techs were just on their phones. Hanging out and chatting… I didn’t get done until 12:15/12:20. $180 later I have some horrible shaped and not fully painted nails… Sure should I have tried to make more time.. 100% but I was told MULTIPLE times it wasn’t a big deal and would have no problem being done before 12. I even have the voicemail saved to prove it. But please save your money.

I booked an appointment for 4 people (3 hot stone pedicures and 1 basic manicure) for a Saturday afternoon. The online booking was easy and efficient. I received a phone call the day before the appointment confirming appointment details. Upon entering the salon, we were immediately greeted and politely told to choose our colors. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The pedicures were amazing and unlike any experience we’ve ever had at a nail salon. The technicians were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible experience. The manicure was also amazing. I highly recommend Precious Nails!

I surprised my husband with a couples pedicure for his birthday at Precious Nails and we both had amazing pedicures! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing! It was a nice touch that they offer complementary drinks! We will definitely be coming back!
