Tres Bien Nail

Service: Builder Gel Mani, w/ matte top coat: This place is worth ALLLLL the hype! I’m in town from DC for a gala and needed a last minute mani. I called, they fit me right in, and it was the absolute BEST nail salon experience I’ve EVER had- and I’ve been getting manis for nearly 30yrs!!!! From start to finish everything was superb. Kanen at the front desk is super friendly and a total ball of sunshine. He hooked me up with a cappuccino (which was better than I’ve gotten at coffee shops!). They were patient as I tested out 5 or 6 different colors to be sure they looked ok on my hands (the color never looks the same as on the swatch), I never felt rushed or as if I was inconveniencing anyone; the nail tech who did my mani, Suzi, was an absolute pro and did meticulous work. They are SUPER reasonably priced, have a large selection of colors and services, the salon is clean, they used new tools, and the white tea scented hot towels were an added bonus. My hands look and feel incredible (pay no attention to my trashed cuticles in the photos- they’re just a disaster… and are in no way a reflection on the salon. Suzi actually cleaned them up as much as she could.) I swear, I’ll drive back to Elmhurst just to come here and get my nails done. 1,000%. Absolutely. Awesome!!!!

I’ve been coming here every 2–3 weeks for over a year now, and I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else. Everyone is so talented, kind, and always makes me feel welcome. Suzy is amazing, and their sweet dog Haru is who first brought me in—but the people and the quality keep me coming back. Just the best all around

This place is super calm, and the owner is really friendly and enthusiastic. They're very knowledgeable about what's best for your nails, especially if they're breaking. They even offer snacks and beverages while you wait, but you'll hardly experience any wait time since they work quickly. The ladies are incredibly nice and pay close attention to their work. They take walk-ins and get you started as soon as possible if they're not busy. The owner even tested nail colors on himself for me to help me pick the perfect shade! This was my first time visiting, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice place, very helpful and the young people who work there are really nice! Nothing to do with the older ones. I went for a refund because my nails were damaged after only two days of my appointment, they aggressively cleaned my cuticle and drew blood on three of my fingers. I was not angry because as a human I understand that sometimes we will make mistakes but as a customer I decided I wanted a refund. The young girl who served me when I came in was very kind and sweet and explained to me that she could not give me a refund due to store policy but she would be happy to fix my nails, so because of her kindness I accepted. In the end the one who ended up doing my nails was the same lady who had done them in the first place. At the end of doing them, the lady called me and I can say in a few words that she was visually angry with me and humiliated me like a little girl. She told me that I should have told her, that she doesn't know why I said thank you, she gave me "tips" that all of us girls who do nails and have a minimum of two neurons already know. But what really pissed me off was when the nice young lady asked me how my nails looked and Ari got between us two and said "Are you happy now?" In a defiant and rude tone. My conclusion is, if you want to be treated nicely ask to be served by the young personal. I don't know why old people are so rude and heartless. Today I was having a bad day and with that lady's treatment my day was simply destroyed. Always be kind, you never know how hard the day is being for others. Edit: Only 4 days after they "fixed" my nails. What a low quality business!

My favorite salon in the Chicagoland area. Owners are kind and thoughtful. The entire team is creative and talented. Great value for the highest quality experience. I love my nail art from Binjjy!
