Makki Studio is truly the best nail salon in Oakbrook! I booked their 4-hands manicure + pedicure service, and it was the most efficient and detailed experience ever. My e-file manicure with gel overlay came out perfect clean cuticles, beautiful shaping, and my nails last 3–4 weeks every time. The studio is gorgeous, super clean, and the service is amazing. If youre looking to do Russian manicures look no more! your nails will thank you, not only do they do amazing work but everyone is so welcoming and nice. I always come in with some crazy pinterest ideas and they deliver everytime! past my expectations everytime. I’ve been going to the same nail salon for the last 6 years, but recently made the switch to Makki Studio and I’m so glad I did! The team here is incredibly precise and detail oriented when it comes to nails, and it truly shows in the final result. On top of that, it’s now my go to spot for both nails and lashes. I had a very bad experience here today 9/15 1pm. I came in for a lash lift and tint for the first time since the place I usually go to was busy. My service was done by the employee with curly blonde hair. The entire appointment felt rushed and careless. The solution started burning my right eye, and when I told her “it burns,” she wiped it quickly but seemed visibly annoyed when I said it still hurt. The tint was applied so sloppily that I immediately felt it pool into my eye. The burning was so bad I had to go to Walgreens afterward to purchase eye solution. On top of that, the lash lift itself was uneven and messy. My lashes are pointing in different directions, and my inner corner lashes were completely missed. I wanted to treat myself before my honeymoon tomorrow, but instead I left in pain, upset, and worried about possible damage to my eye. Having chemicals get into your eye during a service like this is not only unprofessional but dangerous. I am extremely disappointed and would not return. The whole process took only 30 min. My previous appts at another salon took at least an hour and they are very meticulous about each lash and I have never felt pain or burning. Also, she took before pictures of my lashes and did not want to take after pictures.

Had an amazing manicure at Makki with Rada! She’s precise, professional, and truly skilled. My nails turned out flawless, and the whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend booking with her—I’ll definitely be back!
