Serenity In The Mountains

Overview all great experience! Wife and I were in suite 23 and were very impressed with the size and setup of the suite. Bathroom is the best part: massive open shower and jet tub. Kitchen, living room, and fireplace were all highlights. The couple's massage was awesome! One of the best massages I'd ever gotten and the staff is always so friendly and professional. We will be coming back and I'd recommend to any couples or single spa goers. Great place to get away!

I had the most amazing experience at Serenity Day Spa, thanks to Lisa! I booked a Microderm Facial, and it was phenomenal from start to finish. Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and truly gifted at what she does. She took the time to explain each step, made sure I was comfortable, and customized the treatment to my skin’s needs. My skin has never felt smoother or looked more radiant! Beyond her skill, Lisa’s calming presence made the service even more relaxing. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients’ experience and results. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and excited to come back. If you’re looking for a top-tier facial, I can’t recommend Lisa enough!

The saying that "you don't know what you have until it's gone" applies to nowhere we have stayed better than this place. We spent 2 nights here for a combination trip for my birthday and our 'babymoon' trip before we have our first child next year. The room itself was extremely spacious, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen and a large tub for two with jets plus washer/dryer all included in our room. The location is near a busy road the large shrubs and other greenery along a nice wall do a very good job of keeping the noise out. While this resort does not have the stunning mountain views that other individual cabins in Blue Ridge may offer, the ease of getting into the downtown BR area (7 minutes by car) and the wonderful spa staff absolutely make up for it. The staff did an excellent job of taking care of us, we ordered a special package that included chocolate strawberries and champagne (we got sparkling juice instead because of my pregnant wife) and it was insane. Most hotels or restaurants give you 4-8 Chocolate strawberries if you're lucky, this place probably gave us a plate of 20! We were sadly not able to finish eating them before we left and joked about wishing they'd survive the trip home. The spa staff did an excellent job of making us feel extremely comfortable and relaxed in a calm environment. In the waiting lobby they brought us waters and even more chocolate strawberries. My wife is a seasoned massage veteran and claims it was the best massage she has ever had, they were able to make her feel comfortable as someone with PTSD and specialized it for prenatal needs. We left Serenity to travel onto our next hotel in a different town the remainder of our trip and are wishing dearly that we stayed longer, this location has truly become our new watermark to judge other resorts off of. What a hidden gem!

My husband and I come every year for our anniversary. It's a little pricey but we only come once a year. It's very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff is friendly. We are celebrating our 52nd Anniversary and I think we've been coming about 8 years. I think most people call the rooms rustic but I love the wood that's in the rooms. Lord willing, we will come back again for our Anniversary next year.

Two weeks ago, my mom and I visited Serenity in the Mountains for a second time and were once again very happy and impressed with our experience! From the kindness of the staff, various amenities offered, quality of services provided, attention to detail, and overall cleanliness…we continue to give it a 5/5! We had scheduled massages and were both very pleased with our providers (Israel was mine and was fantastic!!), followed by a lovely quiet lunch in the cafe with a special birthday treat (that made me feel so very special), then a relaxing salt cave session, in addition to taking advantage of the steam room and dry sauna. We left feeling fully relaxed and are looking forward to our next visit!! Thank you!
