Sedona's New Day Spa

I am endlessly thankful to Sedona’s New Day Spa, their owner Jill, massage staff and front desk crew! So much warmth, understanding and true desire to help. Needless to say, the place is a true oasis—beautiful, clean, relaxing, with attention to every small detail. I was never in a rush to leave whether enjoying the breeze of the outdoor patio or the coolness of the calming waiting/“hydration” room. I arrived to Sedona with a lot of pain in my back, shoulders and neck. I could barely move my head side to side there was so much tightness and tension in my body. All chiropractic treatment failed, so I turned to massage therapy. My first myofascial massage at New Day Spa brought me back to life, so I decided to continue with the massage. I added craniosacral therapy with Aileen and achieved even more relieve and mobility in my body. Aileen is a fantastic specialist—I felt light as a feather after her treatments, and she helped me a lot with further advice how to continue healing when I go back to New York. I got so much better, that I started going on almost daily hikes and enjoying Sedona like a true out-of-towner should. I continued going to New Day Spa during my entire stay in Sedona/Cottonwood for 1.5months. Thank you so much for showing me the power of massage!

This was our second visit and we were really impressed. Beautiful, cozy retreat space with a great patio and hot tub with outdoor shower. The massage was incredible and I love being able to take the leftover aromatherapy oil home afterward.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub/garden area before our massages. We had a tandem CBD massage from Tiffany and Mercedes. It was excellent! We were both very relaxed. They helped my husband to feel comfortable, as it was his first massage. We also loved the complimentary mimosas and chapstick after our service. Thank you!

I came here with my husband for our anniversary. Long story short, they had called me a few times to reschedule since they had some scheduling errors. I had said I couldn't reschedule but I would try to come in earlier if possible (coming in from out of town) but didn't want to commit as my schedule was already a bit tight. I could tell they were pretty irritated with me but alas. The day arrives and we ended up moving a few things to show up early as I was paranoid they'd try to rush through my appointment. At check in they gave my husband the third degree when he asked for a discount because of the inconvenience. He explained how we had to rearrange child care because of the confusion and she says "Ohhhh so you have kids now??" after asking him to explain why he felt justified asking for a discount and what plans did we have that were so important that we had to reschedule because of them. Of course he didn't answer because she was being kind of invasive. Icing on the cake was when she had asked him if he was asking for a discount because he couldn't afford the spa. Just say no if you don't want to compensate for the trouble. It was so degrading. Was extremely uncomfortable to hang around there for our treatments. They did try to make some small talk while I was there so I give them some credit. But it's just so belitting to be talked to like we're just "the poor" people troubling them by visiting their business. Spent $300 bucks but so so deeply regret it. Clearly a refund or discount isn't possible, because I don't want the receptionist to insinuate again that we're too poor to patronize their business. I heard the receptionist on the phone rescheduling some other appointments as well for "double booking." So just a heads up to consider this when booking. Kind of sad because my first time here was awesome!

A hidden gem in Sedona-excellent spa services, tranquil retreat, staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. My college roommates and I were reuniting for hiking and exploring in Sedona for our 60th birthdays-we capped off the week by treating ourselves to body treatments at New Day. An excellent decision and wonderful experience. From the helpful staff coordinating our reservations long distance, the hot tub pre-treatment, the excellent massage therapists and relaxing on the patio around the fire table enjoying mimosas. We will definitely make New Day part of our trip when we return to Sedona-thank you!
