I cannot say enough great things about Mackenzie at Captured and Crowned/ Pure Art Salon. I worked with her for my wedding October 11th and she was such a joy. From the moment you enter her space at the studio, you feel so at peace. She's so calming and attentive. I changed my mind on makeup and had to book a second trial with Mackenzie- she listened to me and heard all my changes. Also, the lipstick she uses stays on forever-- if anything else, you gotta get the lipstick recommendation!

Mackenzie was amazing! I was traveling from NC to a venue in VA for my wedding and she did not disappoint with the hair and make up for me and my bridal party! I wasn’t able to do a trial run before my wedding day but she took my inspiration photos and did an incredible job! We all felt/looked beyond beautiful and the hair and make up stayed all night! My hair still had curls the next day (and my hair is pretty straight!) I highly recommend Mackenzie as she is so sweet, very professional, personable, and she can take your vision to the next level!

I am so grateful for Mackenzie (Captured and Crowned) at Pure Art Salon. I waited until way too late to start looking for hair and makeup for nine people at my wedding this past April, but Mackenzie and her talented team were available to help save the day. She created a look that was exactly what I wanted in our trial, and for the wedding itself made it even better! She also was very gracious and adapted her plans when I misunderstood our communication, all to make sure the day went well. Her skills are worth every penny and I'd recommend her to anyone who wants to feel gorgeous on their big day. Thank you Mackenzie and team!!

Nicest people from receptionist to stylist. They usually take me at a moment’s notice. Rebecca is amazing and very talented when it comes to braids. She also does my husband’s hair!

McKenzie did my hair today & I can say I most definitely will be back. I showed her what I wanted & that’s what I got! She knew my budget & stayed under it! Very friendly! I recommend her !! If I could give more then 5 stars I would. It’s hard to find a good stylist now a days!
