Fabulous Nails

I came in with a simple design photo and ended up sitting in the chair for about 4 hours. The result looked nothing like what I asked for with extra colors and details were added that I never requested, and the design was messy. Another tech even commented that the design was “intricate,” which it absolutely was not. Even after a $30 discount, I was originally charged $100 for nails I was so unhappy with that I went to another salon the same day and spent an additional $45 to have them removed and repainted for my boyfriend’s birthday. The tech also had an elderly woman waiting the entire time, repeatedly telling her it would be “just 5 more minutes,” but continued working for another hour instead of finishing. I eventually had enough and had to leave since my boyfriend and I had a dinner that night. If I didn’t have that dinner who knows how long she would have continued messing my nails up. I did contact the salon afterward and they eventually refunded most of the service, so I ended up paying $25 total but it should have been free for how bad the service was. The overall experience and quality were extremely disappointing. It would have been more professional for the tech to admit she couldn’t do the design instead of wasting 4 hours of my day. What I wanted vs what I got lol

Johnny and Kelly are incredible! I had a pedicure with Johnny and a manicure with Kelly, and both were truly some of the best I’ve ever had. Johnny (one of the owners) is so kind, friendly, and genuine—he immediately makes you feel welcome and at ease. Kelly was equally wonderful—so engaging and thoughtful, and she made the whole manicure experience relaxing. Both my nails and toes turned out beautiful for the wedding I’m attending. This was such a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Salt Lake City!

Jojo is the best!! She made me feel so comfortable during my first time getting gel x and was super understanding of me wanting to change colors a couple times. She is very attentive to details and my nails look great. She’s great at asking you if you like them throughout the appointment so you have plenty of chances to change things. I will absolutely be coming back to see her again.

Fabulous Nails is truly the best nail salon in the city. I’ve been coming here for almost two years, and every experience has been flawless. Johnny, Lan, Snow, Jojo, and Kelly are the most talented nail techs you’ll ever meet — their skill, creativity, and attention to detail are unmatched. The shop itself is absolutely gorgeous: sparkling clean, beautifully designed, and perched in the hills above the city with such a peaceful, elevated vibe. From the moment you walk in, everyone is warm, welcoming, and treats you like family. I always walk out feeling exactly as their name promises — fabulous. They take the time to listen to what I want, and honestly, I usually say “dealer’s choice” because I trust them completely and I’m always blown away by the result. Their work is meticulous and truly artistic. One time I was in a pinch and had to go somewhere else when they were closed — big mistake. I went straight back to Fabulous Nails as soon as I could, and they fixed everything for me with so much care. Kelly gives me the most stunning claws — she’s a true artist — and Snow always makes my feet look beautiful and treats me like an absolute queen. This whole team is talented, kind, and consistently amazing. I’ll never go anywhere else. I’m loyal to this shop, and so grateful they exist!

Easlyn is the only person I trust to do my nails! She’s so attentive, she listens to what I want and executes perfectly, and her work is so good! I’m constantly getting compliments on my nails. I refuse to go to anyone else.
