Dorado Nail Bar Waxahachie

Came in to get a basic manicure, tried upselling me on gel a few times which i expected, but I declined due to being a healthcare worker. Easily the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. Im not sure if they sanitize tools between clients or use an autoclave. She came over from working on another lady and I’m sure i didn’t see her open a new pack of clippers or anything. The cuticle pusher tool still had gunk on it from other jobs or clients. I should’ve got up and left when i saw that but i have pretty bad social anxiety. My cuticles actually look worse after than they did coming in! They’re bleeding and there’s still so much dead nasty skin around my nail. I still tipped 10$ on a 22$ service for a bad job done. Do you think if i would’ve gotten a more expensive service she would’ve done a better job? I’m supposed to get engaged tomorrow and i literally sat in my car crying after this. I got my toes done and nails painted prior at a different place (highly recommend resort nails) but i forgot to specify that i wanted a manicure… so i came here after hoping to get a quick manicure. Should’ve stayed at resort and paid them the money, damn the anxiety that stopped me from asking them for a manicure instead. At least they would’ve done a good job. Ended up taking off the polish. Just going to do press ons at this point.

We came here tonight for my nieces pre wedding preparations. This place is amazing. They had us all in one area and had a cheese and meat board and champagne. They all made us feel so special. I cant recommend them enough. Ivy did my nails and she is awesome. All of our nails and pedicures came out wonderful. The entire staff is amazing and I will definitely be returning! Thank you so much Dorado Nail Bar for such an amazing experience for my nieces special day!!!

I had a great experience today! Three different techs helped me — one did my ombré set, another my pedicure, and one did my kid’s pedi — and each one was so friendly, patient, and detail-oriented. The salon was clean, relaxing, and the atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. My nails came out gorgeous, my feet feel amazing, and my daughter loved her mini pedi! Definitely my new go-to spot in Waxahachie. 💅💖

My first visit here, they provided wonderful customer service and everyone was so friendly! I had Eric and he did a wonderful job on my shape and I’m so happy with the finished result! They have so many colors and the place was very clean! Also would like to note the chairs were comfortable as well! I definitely recommend.

This is the first nail salon in a long time that actually did a great job and was able to answer questions so that I could get exactly what I wanted. All without directing me to the most expensive options! Also way more affordable than anywhere else in town. I will actually return to regularly getting my nails and pedicures done again! 100% satisfied! I had been looking for a salon that did builder gel and this place did. I got the gel builder French nails and Aroma pedicure with french gel for only 130. The only other place I’ll bother with in Waxahachie charges 20-30 more for my pedicure than this place. They do charge extra for French but that is normal. I will say I went with 2 others. One said she had never had dip done ad well as this place loved her pedicure too (we all got the Aroma) but the other person’s gel builder didn’t turn out so well and doesn’t look good at all. Please avoid tech Mimi for builder gel at least. The tech Tiphany did an excellent job on mine though. All 3 of us were very happy with our Pedicures but Andy did the best by far and is great! The gel color that one of the people picked was going to come out too see through so he went and got a solid base color that matched and made it pop so much better than her builder nails did. Over all unless something changes none of us will return to Hollywood nails and will come here for nails and Pedicures. Finally Waxahachie has a good option!!!
