Uptown Nail Spa

Although the staff was friendly, this is the worst builder gel service I’ve ever received. Three of my nails needed to be touched up after a few short days, so I gave them the opportunity to make it right. Unfortunately, it made my nails look even worse as you can see how poorly the paint was applied to my nails-coats are uneven, streaky, and I have glue all underneath them. I highly advise the techs to either slow down or get proper training.

Michelle is amazing! I gave her my colors and told her where I was going, and she completely nailed it (literally). Her artistic vision blew me away, and the nail art turned out better than I could have imagined. Trust the process!!!

A few weeks before my Oct 4 visit, I told my tech Chloe my toenail was turning yellow — likely the start of a fungus. She said it was from tight sneakers (untrue) and tried to apply an overlay. I declined out of concern for my nail health. On Oct 4, I returned for a pedicure; when removing polish, my nail was green. The tech said it was from “dropping a weight at the gym” (I don’t go to the gym) and again suggested acrylic, insisting it wasn’t fungus. A pharmacist later confirmed it was. The male manager said the salon wasn’t responsible and walked away mid-conversation. On Oct 5, my pinky toe polish peeled off, and the female manager was combative and claimed I had “no proof” the fungus came from their shop. I explained that I do have proof and documentation, and that this is the only salon I’ve visited since moving to Texas. She initially refused service after I mentioned leaving a review, but we eventually agreed that Michelle would fix my toenail, which she did. I left the establishment and will not be returning. This salon provides false information, dismisses concerns, and refuses accountability. Avoid for your safety and nail health. Please see the pictures below. The yellow nail is when I first suspected the fungus and then the green nail is most recent as of October 4, 2025 with a fungus.

Got a full acrylic set with gel from Jenny and she absolutely killed it! She matched my inspo pic perfectly and even offered other suggestions she thought would look great! Will definitely come back!

Beautifully done! Really sweet ladies. LOVE that they do your hands and fret at the same time. I got a 1 hour massage, gel manicure and pedicure and was out in under 2.5 hours! Came back before i left town for a little touch up. Will be back when i am in the Dallas area!
