Bamboo nails spa & lash & brow

Arrived when they opened and waited an hour and 15 minutes for a pedicure. Then once the pedicure was done I was sitting waiting for my fill in and they took someone who’d just walked in for nails instead of me going next (no she didn’t say she had an appointment). That’s not how you prioritize customers. then to make matters even worse the old man who done my nails was very rough, cut me with the drill and couldn’t color match my toes my nails are rough, uneven and awful. definitely will not ever be back. I’ve been getting my nails done for 20 years and this is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! 3 hours and $120 for absolute trash!!

I went there yesterday for my 7 year olds birthday to have our nails done. Even though the place was packed with people (we went at the busiest time and this place is on another playing field from past salons I have went to so it is understandable) , we were still in very quickly and the staff all were very nice. One nail tech did my daughters and my friends nails (purple and red) and they were good. However the nail tech that got to me (silver glitter) bent over backwards making sure everyone was having a great time and experience. He offered us water to drink and really engaged with my daughter about her beautiful nails. I will definitely request for him anytime I go in the future. My nails look AMAZING 😍 and the price AMAZING as well 🙂

I went to Bamboo Nail Spot in Shelbyville this afternoon around 1:30 PM. I called ahead to confirm pricing for white tip acrylics and a polish change and was quoted \$65 total. Once I was seated with the lady in the back, she started on my nails but when it came time for the tips, she used regular clear tips instead of the white tips I had requested. When I asked, she told me white tips “come on thick,” which I’ve never experienced at other salons. She offered to paint the tips instead, which wasn’t what I wanted, but I agreed since I was already in the chair. She said it wouldn’t be an upcharge. After finishing my nails, she moved me to the pedicure chair for the polish change. Instead of trimming, filing, or properly prepping my nails, she just removed the old polish and painted over them, leaving them looking unfinished. This was especially disappointing since I have a wedding to attend tomorrow. When it came time to check out, she tried to charge me \$80 instead of the \$65 I was quoted. I had to go back in and point out the mistake before she returned \$15 in cash. At no point did she apologize, and she was dismissive throughout the appointment. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service, the lack of attention to detail, and the attempt to overcharge me. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I think this salon could greatly improve their customer service and professionalism.

My first time going in today. Rio did my dip. We had a miscommunication during consultation and my nails were a color I didn’t like. He was very professional and made it right for me, even though it took extra time. My nails are beautiful. The price is reasonable and I will definitely go back.

Went in for a full set bc reviews were good. Got sat right away but the lady I got in the back was rude and cut me 3 times with the drill!! The acrylic was bumpy and when I asked her to thin them she just did not respond. I also have acrylic flooding my cuticles and the extension is lifted from my nail and I’ve had them on for a day 🙃
