The Nail barre - Lake Murray

THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING ON THE RETAIL SIDE. I purchased peepers( reading glasses) for $34 from their retail side for a second time on last Saturday. The glasses did not fit properly and I decided that I would return them the same day. Well, I called to ensure they were open & I explained to the tech over the phone that I would be coming in to return the glasses. Unfortunately I had the wrong location so I had to call the one at Lake Murray. I ended up going back as I was already in route when I called because I just knew this return was going to be done. In summary, the director of operations stated via email on Monday that they would not accept my return because it was a “personal care” item. This no return policy was not stated to me by the receptionist at check out and it was not stated on the receipt. This is a great example of what it means to be willing to accept business, and not manage it well. I’m really disappointed in this situation & I hope this review cautions the next person before patronizing their retail side of business.

Everyone at The Nail Barre in Lake Murray was so nice and welcoming! The salon was extremely clean and well-maintained, and Taylor did an amazing job on my nails. I’ll definitely be returning to see Taylor — highly recommend!

Desk staff and nail technician were friendly and informative. The environment was clean with great music playing. My nails look great! I will definitely return.

The ladies were all very nice to me and my daughter. We enjoyed the service and conversation.

I had a manicure done by Arianna two weeks ago and today. My first manicure didn’t last for various reasons, so I reached out to the business via email and they promptly responded about my concerns. When I came back today to get another manicure with Arianna, I told her about the issues I had encountered with my gel nails. She apologized and was eager to try something different to make my nails stronger and last. I had such a fun appointment with her and another tech who was doing a pedicure at the time. The environment is so welcoming and calming to be in. Arianna was so helpful and kind and taught me a lot about the techniques they use for gel nails and other types of manicure. She is definitely recommend going to her for your nails.
