Albany Nails and Spa

Moved to Albany nails and spa after jumping from salon to salon because of bad service, since I’ve been coming to see Jenny at Albany nails and spa she does her best to get me in on days and times that work for me, and quickly. She does a great job and I’m always pleased with the outcome. They are a small business and treat all their customers like friends. I have referred several people there who are also please with their services and end results. Call ahead to make sure they have availability, no business these days should be expected to drop everything they have going on to fit you in with no notice.

I had a great experience here! Booked my appointment over phone, and was able to come in early. There was no wait at all. I got cat eye nails and they came out gorgeous. The service was wonderful and I had a great time. The prices are also very reasonable. Will definitely come back!

Jenny and Si are super welcoming and friendly. Si has done my nails each time and I've been super happy with the results. This is now my go-to nail place!

PLEASE BEWARE: THIS SALON IS UNSANITARY! He cut me open 4 times and never put antiseptic on the cuts, just kept working. None of the tools or bowl were sanitized or washed between customers, he reused someone else’s nail file and buffer on me, and he did not wear gloves even after cutting me open. I should have stopped the service and left but I’m not a confrontational person. I am 6 months pregnant and now have two infected toes because of this salon. I called to complain and was told to come back in, which is not something I ever plan to do. As far as the customer service goes, make sure you bring cash. If you don’t (which they don’t tell you to do on the phone) they will shame you in front of all of the other customers. I wish I could give zero stars. Edit to add: four days later and my gel nail polish was peeling off my hands. I went in to talk to the owner and she blamed me for the infection and the gel polish. Do not go here.

I have been coming here regularly for a while, Jenny has remembered me every time. She has always done an absolutely amazing job! I always get so many compliments on my nails. Jenny is the sweetest person and so personable! I would continue to go here forever! When you go here you aren’t just picking another salon, you’re picking another family.
