I found Golden Nails 3 months ago and they are amazing! I saw reviews for Jack and have been going to him. His nail art is beyond. You find a photo and he can re create pretty much anything you want. So many people comment on my nails now and want to go to him. An amazing nail artist and a nice guy too.

I came to this salon for the first time about a month ago and it was the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. Kent was super rude to me and kept making comments about me picking at my hangnails. He told me that what I asked for was “very hard” and that he needed to leave for a few minutes to “get more energy” to do my set. He didn’t cut down my natural nails before he put the tips on so there were huge gaps in between my nail and the tips which led to them popping off THE DAY AFTER I GOT THEM DONE. he did no cuticle prep either, he didn’t even get me a towel to wash off all of the nail dust he just brushed my hands. The actual form of the nails were jagged and uneven. I had to rip them off myself (because I was afraid I’d get an infection since water could get in the gap), and go to a nail salon ON VACATION to redo what he messed up. Normally I can’t rip them off until they’ve been on for a while , but this time it didn’t even hurt to take them off which is a sign that the prep and foundation was not done properly. Not only did I waste $85 and my time, I had to take more time out of my vacation to make up for it. Also, why put an email on your website if you’re not going to respond to it? Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. It’s a shame too, because the salon itself is very nice but I will never be taking my business there ever again. if you do go, i guess you should ask for anyone BUT Kent.

I went to this nail salon today and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. I specifically asked for gel extensions, not acrylic tips, and made it clear that I wanted my natural nails squared off and strengthened with gel. The technician immediately started cutting my natural nails short, and when I questioned him, he said “ok” but then proceeded to glue on tips anyway. I stopped him again to remind him I didn’t want acrylics, only gel extensions on my natural nails. Instead of listening, he continued cutting my nails extremely short — down to the point where my skin is actually exposed and the nails hurt. At that point it felt too late to stop everything, so I just let him finish. I walked out with painful, stubby nails, a $62 charge, and still tipped $10 out of courtesy. I’m honestly very upset. My nails were completely ruined when all I wanted was a simple gel extension on my natural length. Definitely not the service I asked for or expected.

Jack is seriously the best! He’s super talented, detail-oriented, and always makes sure my nails look flawless every single time. Whether it’s a simple set or something more creative, he nails it (pun intended) every time. On top of that, he’s super friendly, easy to chat with, and makes the whole appointment feel like a chill hangout. I always leave feeling pampered and obsessed with my nails. Highly recommend Jack if you want top-tier nails and great vibes!

I do really enjoy going here. However, today the nail tech made me bleed twice. Posting this for learning purposes.
