We took our little girl (5yrs old) here for her very first haircut and layers. Andrea did such a wonderful job with her and her hair. They chatted the whole time and she was so careful with her. Her hair turned out just beautiful. Could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone is so welcoming and the place itself has the chillest vibe. 10/10 recommend.

The Best Hair Salon In The South! This salon makes you feel so welcome and cared for. My hair stylist Grace is incredible, I have been seeing her for over a year and she knows how to work her magic. I love her work so much, I asked her to style my hair for my wedding!

One of the sweetest things in life is finding YOUR stylist. Someone who not only flawlessly executes inspo photos, but also makes you feel comfortable to be in their chair. Grace at Frey is my best kept secret. I don't know that I have ever been back to the same stylist more than twice, until I came to Grace a little under a year ago. I told her I wanted my hair "fixed" and that 2 others told me it couldn't be done. Well, she did it. And now, almost a year later, I look forward to seeing her every 8 weeks for my refresh! I would trust Grace with my hair blindfolded.

I've been a regular here for years and I'm so upset to have to post this. I won't be going back. I deviated from my normal service to do a fun fashion color. I talked it over with the stylist and together we chose a complimentary color, a soft, pale pastel lilac/lavender. I knew that it would require a bleaching, then color application. The bleaching burned my scalp and left me very brassy. The color then applied was the WRONG color. After washed and dried, it was not only wrong, but incredibly uneven. I let the stylist know it wasn't right, so she decided to consult with an expert on fashion colors. She mixed up a new dye and applied it. When it was done it was bright purple. Not the pale color I specifically requested, but an in-your-face neon purple. I mentioned that it was very bold, but I was then rushed off as she had another client waiting. I paid $220 ($200 for service and $20 tip) for my hair to be absolutely messed up. I sent a message through their website to which I got no response. So I called. I explained that my hair wasn't right. The color was wrong, it was super uneven and there are patches of hair that have no color at all. I was talked in circles over and over again. "Well what do you want done?" I want it fixed. "Well how do you want us to do that?" I want my hair to be the color I chose and I want it evenly colored. I was told they could fix it, but I have to be charged for the product. What??? This isn't buyer's remorse. This is stylist error and I should not have to pay more to get what I originally requested and paid for with the service. Needless to say I will not be spending any more money at Fréy.

I came in for a cut with Claudia. I don’t get my hair cut/trimmed often, but was very impressed. I have really thick hair and have struggled to find stylists that can make it more manageable. She did a perfect job and did exactly what I asked for! I’ll be back for sure!
