Euro Nails

I’ve been going to Kristy at Euro Nails for a cpl of years. She always does a great job. Remembers how I prefer my nails shaped and the colors I always pick. I was super excited today that they had a little darker pink for my mani! I get compliments on my nails all the time and I tell them all to check out Euro Nails!

First time at Euro nails and it was amazing. Kristy is an expert I left feeling confident and happy. I found my new nail salon home!(:

So, me, my mom, sister and 2 nieces went here Saturday 3/22/2025. For a 10’clock appointment that was pre scheduled for all of us about 2 weeks out I had called and got us all reserved. My mom had a pedicure, I had a gel manicure for my first time and my sister and her kiddos did regular manicures. We get there and find out only my mom and I are scheduled. They made it work and fit my sister and her kids in and apologized and all was good. The lady who did my nails was really nice. 4 days later my gel manicure is completely peeling off and my nails are moist feeling. I looked up why this may happen and knew these manicures should last 2-3 weeks before needing them done. I called, and for the first handful of minutes a gentlemen was explaining I may be charged, I could do a more expensive dip options to which I finally interrupted and said well considering I just got these done 4 days ago I really don’t feel it’s right to have to pay for a new manicure and to have them redone because they shouldn’t be peeling off like this. He had also mentioned prior to me saying that that they may charge may not but she would have to look at them. I was like I’m not driving from red wing to Lakeville to repay for a manicure I paid $47 for w the tip when for whatever reason it just wasn’t done properly. So he talked to Cindy and she agreed she would redo them. I had originally scheduled for this Friday to have them redone but opted not to because I don’t want to potentially deal with a charge being the first part of the conversation was trying to talk me into paying for another manicure which I was not ok with, the other part was if it was done wrong before hand I didn’t want to risk my nail health being potentially messed up again. So I decided to just cancel that, explain on a review and just not go back. It wasn’t the best experience and I just feel if you pay what they charge the quality should be there and it wasn’t.

I’ve been getting my nails done at Euro nails for 8 or 9 years. Everyone who works there is friendly. It’s clean and reasonably priced. I see Mimi, she does excellent work and I’ve never been unhappy in all these years. I’ve had dip nails, acrylics, and now gel builder and I’d recommend Mimi for all of them.

I will not go here again. The person who did my nails spent the entire time talking to her coworker in her native language. The only words to me were upselling other services and sorry I am late and one other question. I have no problem conversing with coworkers but not the entire time. If they don’t want to talk I am fine with that but silence is better. There is a lot of competition and workmanship was good but there are a lot of other good places in Lakeville. I am sorry I overtipped as it wasn’t warranted.
