Lily Nails

I genuinely cannot rave enough about Lily Nails - I haven’t gotten a bad set in the last year I’ve gone regularly!! All the nail techs are talented and leave you with a fresh mani or pedi that wears well for 3+ weeks. I have to speak specifically to MaiCa!! She knows her stuff - and she is helping me get my natural nails stronger than ever before - her attention to detail is unmatched and I am always happy to sit in her chair! I love Lily Nails - if you’re wondering about a good mani/pedi, you’ve found it !!!

11/10 recommend!! Daina is an absolute rock star and nails every look I bring to her! The rest of the staff has been so kind and friendly. Super affordable, a lot of parking, bright and airy salon. If you’re looking for a new spot, this is your place!!

I got dazzle dry which usually lasts at least a week (and usually 2) when I’ve gotten it from other salons. This is what my nails look like only 2 days later. I emailed them and got no response. Save your money and go somewhere else. $130 for mani pedi w/ dazzle dry is too much. Especially when this is the result.

I have been going to this salon since moving to Minneapolis from Las Vegas. I love the salon itself; great atmosphere and staff, the owner, Lily, is very friendly and attentive. However, each time I have gone back I have asked politely not to be with a specific nail technician - she is so sweet, but every time she has done my Gel X set I have had a couple of problems. Last time my nails were glued on heavy, they looked like they were “bubbling” from my nail bed. The owner, Lily, had questioned where i had gotten them done and was stunned when I told her there. Today; I booked my appointment about a week ago, asking for the previous nail technician I had (having a good experience) however today when I came in they were not available. After my pedicure (who I have no preference) I had been given to the nail technician I previously asked not to be with. I had asked for a specific design and told her it was okay if we couldn’t do it, as I’d rather it look clean and pigmented. She assured me she could do anything. However, the final product, my nails are translucent, the ombré isn’t as blended as I would’ve hoped and in the light it is very prevalent, around my nails (on the skin) there is still color, and on some of my nails the bed is exposed from the side. [Pictures for reference] Again, I do really love this salon and every other technician has been so lovely in their work. These nails were just for a festival and birthday that I am flying out of town for and just wish I would’ve been able to get a different nail technician like I had asked. I do appreciate the time and patience my technician had as I did ask for a more complex design than just a solid color. UPDATE: The owner gave me a call apologizing and kindly assuring me that she understood what was going on. She politely asked me to come in so any errors could be corrected. 🎀

I've been going to Lily Nails consistently for almost two years now, and I honestly can't imagine getting my nails done anywhere else! The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Lily always greets everyone by name — I honestly can’t believe how she remembers so many people! Scheduling is super easy and the pricing is very fair, especially considering the high quality of their work. Whether you want something simple or an intricate design, they can do it! I’m gate keeping my nail girls name so her calendar doesn’t fill up ;) But I highly recommend anyone looking to get their nails done in the Minneapolis area to check out Lily nails!
