Tracy Nail Spa

I’ve been going to Tracy Nails for years — back when she was inside Meijer, then when she moved by Little Caesars, and now at her current location in front of Meijer. I’ve followed her all this time because she’s incredibly talented and always did beautiful work. I truly admired her and wanted to support her business. But over the past few months, something has really changed — and honestly, it’s broken my heart to even have to write this. The customer service has become so inconsistent and cold that I’ve left my last few appointments feeling more and more uncomfortable. Prices have suddenly changed from one visit to the next with no explanation, and Tracy herself has become short and dismissive with me. Even little things, like the color boards, became frustrating. I’d pick a deep maroon and end up with a bright red, but I let it go because I loved her work and didn’t want to make waves. I kept giving her the benefit of the doubt. Then came my last appointment — and it was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had. She seemed irritated from the moment I sat down, rushing through everything and barely acknowledging me. When I tried to make small talk, she ignored me. She worked so roughly that my fingers were bleeding on most of my nails, and she just kept going. The person next to me even said “wow” because of how aggressive and dismissive she was being. By the end, I was holding back tears, and when I got to my car, I completely broke down crying. My mom ended up calling her afterward because she was so upset by how I was treated. Instead of apologizing, Tracy justified it by saying my appointment took too long — which wasn’t even true (it was 40 minutes). But even if it had been longer, there’s just no reason to treat anyone that way, especially someone who’s been loyal for years. I don’t like writing negative reviews because of how hard people work for their businesses, but I felt like I needed to share this because I left that day feeling small, disrespected, and heartbroken. I hope Tracy realizes how deeply her actions affected me — because despite everything, I still think she’s talented and capable of so much more kindness than what I experienced.

I will be coming back! The time spent and attention to details amazed me! This is the cleanest set of shop nails I’ve ever had!! Very well priced as well!

Great experience! I’ve been to Tracy’s Nails multiple times throughout the years. I decided it was time to go back to get acrylics and I went after work. I had zero wait time and she was very fast, professional, and detailed when doing my nails. It was $70 for the full-set. It was $60 then they charge $10 for coffin or almond shape. I will be going back for a fill in a couple of weeks.

Tracy would charge my fiancée $40-60 an hour a session without any justification of the difference every 2-3 weeks. Session always took about an hour and scheduled in advanced! Did good work but had shown an unfriendly side in the past. It went on ignored. This last time she was rough slamming pallets infront of her claiming she didn’t have the colors she was requesting although she in fact did! Made her bleed and acted as though she didn’t have time for the appointment even though she was the one that booked it for that time and day. I hope to encourage others not to put up/deal with her abusive attitude as no paying customer deserves to be treated in such a manner. Why even make the appointment with her to begin with? This is your job at your place of business! There were so many different ways for you to handle business even if you didn’t want to book with a certain person anymore for whatever reason. And if you are as miserable as your mistreatment makes you seem I encourage you to stop doing nails and do something else that makes you happy.

Quality products. Nice experience. Have been all over Saginaw and so far this is the best place. Most of the time I get my nails done and it's off within the 1st week. (Using Shellac) My nails last 2.5-3 weeks before any chipping. They were also able to do my Harry Potter inspired Design.
