2025-06-22Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with my experience at MiniLuxe a few weeks ago. A friend of mine referred me because she regularly goes here and loves it, so I assume this must have just been a one-off. I got a classic gel manicure and, even with the referral discount, it was more expensive than any other local place I go to for gel nails (usually, it's $35 + tip). I get that people pay for the cleanliness (and it was pristine in there) so I figured I'd try it anyway, but the manicure was poorly done. The prep and aftercare were fine, but my nail tech did not put polish close to my nail beds at all. As a result, my freshly done nails looked like they'd already grown out at least 1-2 weeks. The photo I took was not even 2 days after my appointment. I'll be sticking to my local spot from now on.

2025-10-20I recently had a gel manicure that included a Halloween-themed nail design at Miniluxe on Newbury Street. My manicurist was Jenny, who did an EXCELLENT job of doing my nails! She was so meticulous and made sure that I liked every detail. My nails came out even better than I expected, and Jenny was so incredibly patient considering how detailed the design I wanted was! Everything came out perfect, and I love my Halloween nails! I have been going to MiniLuxe now for many years, and each time I get my nails done, I'm so happy with the result.

I am so happy to have finally found a trusted place to always get my nails done at. The salon was extremely clean, beautiful, and chic. My nail artist Li Mei was incredible and was so gentle with my cuticles. I couldn't recommend this place more!
