Nail Designs II

LOVE THIS PLACE! This shop is very clean and the staff is very professional. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and have never been disappointed. My nails and pedicures always receive compliments (pics attached) The service excellence at this establishment is unmatched! It’s a shame that a disgruntled ex-employee would go to this extreme to destroy the reputation of Nail Design II. Don’t take my word for it, stop by and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

Walked in because I needed a fill in for a dip that was done horribly by another salon. I was greeted and immediately sat and Lily did my nails. She was friendly and funny. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed to see not only her, but two other Latino employees at the salon. She did an excellent job on my nails, took her time, and checked to see if I approved every step of the process. I'm happy with the results and will definitely be returning.

Going here 2 1/2 yrs, very friendly, pleasant, offer refreshments. Clean, comfortable atmosphere and offer others spa services.

I wanted to like this place but because of the nail tech they gave me, I'm disappointed. I asked for Almond shaped nails and instead she did stilettos. I clerlarly told her that they were not Almond nails and that she had to round them more, but she tried to convince me otherwise. I have been getting my nails done for 12 years, I know the difference between almond and stilettos nails. Not to mention, she cut down my real nails that had new growth without even asking me if that was what I wanted. Her response was "That's the way I do it". You never do something to a client's nails without their permission. You are suppose to build trust with your new clients to maintain good clientle business. Make sure to make an appointment with the best tech ahead of time. I know I didn't have one but they called me back telling me that they had someone to do my nails. I should have known it would be a disaster when I asked the guy at the front desk if they were any good at doing nails and he didn't answer "yes" immediately. Never again. Guess she thought I was gonna give her a tip. Absolutely not. If you want a tip here's the tip, listen to what the client wants, not what you want.

The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars was because appointments really do have to be made to get any type of availability. BUT I’ve loved my nails every time. I have tried over 20 different salons trying to get someone to do my nails properly and not over file and get the shape completely wrong. I just took a year break from acrylic nails because they had gotten so thin and damaged. With that being said, I can tell the difference in the chemicals they use here. They’ll soak your nails off, instead of just ripping them with another nail. This is the only shop that can get the nail shape correct and do these type of designs in this area (that I know of). Would definitely recommend.
