Le's Nail Bar - Nail Art in Ellicott City

Do not go here if you expect to be treated as a valued customer. I’ve been coming to this establishment for a year, and my most recent experience with Mimi was the final straw. She did a gel pedicure for me on 11/17, and by the next morning, the polish on one toe had completely peeled off. I texted her with a photo and let her know I’d be coming in on 11/19 to fix it—no response. When I arrived, the unprofessionalism was immediate. She didn’t greet me, didn’t acknowledge me, and only waved her hand for me to sit. When I pointed out that the polish on other toes was lifting, she still said nothing and began handling my feet aggressively while “fixing” them. I then mentioned that I had stubbed my big toe on the way in and cracked it, and asked to have it repaired. Instead of listening or letting me finish speaking, she yelled at me, insisting it wasn’t her fault and that I’d have to pay $15. I calmly explained that I was simply asking her to fix the nail and was willing to pay, yet she continued to roughly handle my feet and mutter angrily under her breath as if punishing me for bringing it up. This is not the first time her pedicures have peeled within 24 hours, and unfortunately, it is also not the first time she has been disrespectful. To add, customer service at this establishment is consistently poor—staff routinely fail to greet or acknowledge customers of color when they walk in. I’ve brought this to Mimi’s attention multiple times, yet nothing has changed. While her manicure services are decent, her gel application on toes and her attitude toward customers need serious improvement. This experience was the final straw. It was unacceptable, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. I strongly hope management takes this complaint seriously and makes meaningful changes.

I love love love this place!!! Whenever I want to get my nails done I will always come here because the nail artists are so kind and welcoming! They make sure my nails are the perfect length, clean, and neat. Mine were done by Mimi and she was just excellent! ✨✨

Le’s Nail bar is super clean, well maintained, and the employees there are amazing! I’ve been going there for a few months now and I only have good things to say about Le’s Nail Bar. With that being said: Im sure everyone else does a fantastic job but got to make a specific shoutout to my nail tech, MiMi!! I’ve been going to MiMi for a bit now and she always does an exceptional job. She’s the sweetest!! I always get dip nails done and it’s not too thick or too thin, it’s the right layer and it lasts a very long time!! I have got a pedi a few times too and it is amazing!

My first time here. Did not enjoy my experience. Went for full set, pedicure, eyebrow wax. Only finished the pedicure because it took forever. I don't think my person really knew what she was doing (lovely lady though). I couldn't relay what I wanted like water temp or areas I wanted more attention on. Another lady (after she completed two other customers) did come to finish and did better. However, it had already been over an hour, the soaking water is now cold, and my "pamper me time" was just not there anymore. She asked me to come back tomorrow for my other services not knowing I had already mentally disengaged with no plan to complete my other services. Wanted to try this place because it looks pretty on the inside. I REGRET THAT CHOICE NOW.

8/26/2025 Let me start off from walking in the door. They were pleasant. Someone handed me the price list to decide what I wanted done .I decided to just get the pedicure next to the highest service . It was very much needed. Upon arriving to my seat, the water was already running. it was not quite ready yet, so I did not stick my feet in it once I stuck my feet in the water. That shit was very cold. I proceeded to say that the water was cold so I wasn’t putting my feet in . the lady bought a bucket to take water out and to keep adding hot water which she repeated several times before it got to a reasonable temperature, but not to my Liking. Luke warm The next thing was the massage chair was malfunctioning. It would come on for two seconds and shut right back off. I couldn’t move my chair back or forward.I am very tall so I need it to come back. They did not bother to even give me an extra towel to cover up being as though that I had on a dress. Upon getting the service that I paid for was next to the highest service meaning that she did not massage my legs. Nothing required I had to tell her where to scrub on my feet. I had little to no time to soak in the water Cause most of the time it was outside due to the temperature. I feel like I was rushed through my service. I will not be back there again and I do not recommend anyone to go there upon my experience. It may very well be different for someone else, but do not use the second chair when you first go in. Added 8/28/2025 I must change these stars down to one . I just got this done and it looks like they’ve been done for over a week. She didn’t even put the polish all the way down because of the tone of the polish and the tone of the color of my skin I really didn’t notice it until yesterday
