Cindy is the best nail artist I have had do my nails. Zen builder gel with paint and chrome designs are her specialty for me. Oak leaf and acorn fall designs are beautiful.

I thought I found a new favorite nail spot, but boy was I wrong. I got a fill in on Friday, February 14th and it looked great. The nail tech, Meme, was criticizing my previous nail tech most of the time— saying the nails were uneven and that the color she used was way better than the one my previous nail tech used. I mostly agreed as I liked this set much better UNTIL my pointer finger nail started coming off two days later. Keep in mind I asked my nail tech all throughout the appointment how long she thought my nails would last. She said she wasn’t sure but still insisted her work was better than that of my last nail tech. In my four years of getting acrylic nails, including in the set I had previously, never have I ever had an a nail from a new set or fill in that came off two days later. I was obviously extremely disappointed and asked if I could get them fixed. The first time I called in and they said yes, but when I got there they were “closing early.” I am 20 minutes away from this spot, so it was a waste of 40 minutes there and back. I tried a second time and called in again. I believe Meme was the one speaking, and she said that she could fix it for me with no problem. When I got there, I was surprised at the nasty attitude I received from Meme. She angrily said she could do it this time but would not do it again since my nails were old. Firstly, I did not receive this hostility over the phone. If I had I might not have even come in. Secondly, I understand that my nails were old, but if I’m paying $60 ($70 with the tip) for a fill in, it better last a decent amount of time. She continued to say she would not do it for me again and gave me a very rushed, uneven, and sloppy nail job on my pointer finger that came off AGAIN one day later. She was also barely making eye contact, on her phone, and clearly upset that she had to redo a nail job that she clearly messed up. Again I liked the set initially, but after this experience I will never come back. I have worked in customer service for the past 6 years, and I ensure that I treat my customers with respect no matter the situation. It is ridiculous that someone can so quickly turn so rude simply because they know they are not getting paid. If I personally gave one of my customers a service that left them unhappy, I would be frustrated at myself and not them. As a full time college student, $70 is a lot of money for me. If I am paying you that amount of money, I expect a service that will last me at LEAST 2-3 weeks. Long story short— Meme, I hope losing a potentially loyal customer was worth your temper tantrum. If you all reading this want a cute set for maybe one day, this is the place for you. If you want something that will last, I highly recommend going elsewhere. There are several nail salons in the area where you will get better customer service and long lasting, gorgeous, nails.

I’ve been getting my nails done for many years in the Elkridge/Halethorpe /Arbutus area. There are a lot of nice shops around but Le’s Nail Bar in Elkridge that opened about a year ago is by far the best I’ve ever been to! Their customer service is outstanding!! I called the Thursday before Mothers Day weekend with a last minute request for three appointments and the manager was so wonderful and accommodating. She squeezed us in even though they were very busy!! When we arrived Jenny and Lynn were so welcoming and friendly and made our whole experience feel special. The salon is so clean and beautiful! It was such a fun treat! They have the largest selection of gorgeous colors I’ve seen in the area. Our nails and toes were BEAUTIFUL to say the least! We felt pampered and had so much fun with Jenny and Lynn who took wonderful care of us the entire time! They’ve gained three new clients for sure. Give them a try! You’ll be so glad you did!!💅🏻🍷🩵

My last two visits to Le’s were not great- my gel manicure started chipping only after a week. I decided to give them one more chance (I’m a three strikes and you’re out kind of person). Upon arrival, the young woman at the front desk was not friendly. She couldn’t find my appointment and told me not to book online because they don’t go through the system (okay… then why offer that?). The attitude sucked. It felt like my questions were bothering her. What I witnessed next made me sick to my stomach. There was an argument between a customer and an employee about pricing. The employee was shouting at this customer, gaslighting her into believing that it was SHE who was shouting and SHE who was interrupting when in reality, it was the employee. As a business owner myself, I would never raise my voice like that, even if the customer was in the wrong. The customer was a black woman who had broken English. She just seemed confused. I should have walked out. I apologize to that woman for staying silent. Suffice it to say, I will be not be returning. Oh, and my manicure sucks. Super sloppy edges. Updated Review 1 week later. I got these nails done for prom and at first I thought they looked nice. Then I realized when I got home the ends weren’t even painted white. Shown in the added pictures. I also got a small cut on one of my fingers from the lady doing my nails. The pictures of the nails from prom looked good far away but up close not so much. I’m disappointed in the quality after the cost and amount of time spent in the salon. I will definitely go elsewhere.
