2025-06-13I found this gem of a salon last month when I was in the area with my daughter, she had testing in Des Moines so I decided to get a little pampering done. I love that this salon is a walk-in salon, But also, their online booking is very easy, which is what I utilized and I was able to get an appointment almost immediately. The staff there is great and very welcoming. I had a pedi done last month. Then my daughter had some more testing so we came back up and I knew exactly where I wanted to go. This time I got a Mani/pedi!! 10/10!!!! If I could drive 2 1/2 hours every time I wanted a nail service, I would most definitely come to this place!!!

2025-04-30My nail tech was very friendly but let me relax while she did my manicure. She asked after every step if i was satisfied and made sure i knew to tell her if any of the tools were uncomfortable. She truly took her time and made sure it was perfect and even told me to come back if anything happened to them so she could fix it for me. For reference, I got short, rounded, light pink cat eye nails. The polish is not thick and chunky and she did an incredible job making the nail bed a smooth transition! Love them!!

2025-10-03I had been looking for a new nail salon since moving and I’m so glad to have found Truly Johnston! They took such great care of my nails and dare I say she did the best French tips I’ve ever seen! It’s been almost 4 weeks and I’ve had zero lifting or chipping and I’m heading back to fill in the growth! I’m beyond impressed and have recommended this place to anyone who will listen!
