Northshore Nails and Day Spa

I am a first time client at Northshore Nails and Day Spa. The place is very clean and the staff is very nice. However, I was not happy with my service. I got a no chip mani. In my photos you can see that the coats are uneven and “bubbly”. The LED lights weren’t strong enough to cure the polish or the tech did not put enough layers of polish on the nail. I made sure to put my hand all the way into the LED machine. The bubbling was not only on the stickers but also on the plain nails. Though I am unsatisfied with my nails, my pedicure was simply amazing. I will most likely not come back here despite the excellent reviews.

Did a walk in into a completely empty place with someone that looked liked a nail tech sitting there in the lobby... this a place supposedly open until 7pm. Older Asian lady gave me poorly applied winged eyeliner stinkeye when I asked about a takeoff of my dip manicure and regular pedicure to be done by 4:30pm Good way to act snotty and not get a new customer.

We've been patrons of North Shore Nails & Day Spa for many years and have always had a great experience. The owner (Shimmy) is wonderful & is always able to squeeze in an appointment for us. She really goes above & beyond to make sure that her customers are happy. I'd highly recommend their services; they always do a great job and the staff are very friendly & personable.

Best pedicure ever ... Dazzling pedicure! Even stubbed my toe in sandals on a broken sidewalk 2nd day after pedicure and NO CHIPPING! That was such a fabulous surprise. Still looks like I had it done yesterday and its been 2 weeks with a lot of hiking mountains and walking in sandals everyday since!! Love it, love the staff, love the experience!!

This place steals from you by charging you more if you use a gift card (which is illegal) and do an absolutely terrible job with manicures (I only tried their manicure). Uneven nail shape, cuticles only partially removed (even got told I have dry cuticles…. isn’t that your job to fix that and remove them????), bubbles and uneven nail surface (didn't even buff them to try to make the surface smoother), absolutely horrible.
