BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE! What an absolutely awful, unprofessional and insulting experience. I joined my wife’s double suite (which does not safely or legally accommodate two businesses and was not provided a fob key) a little over a year ago. My wife is a master stylist and corporate trainer for record breaking salons with an impeccable reputation. The entire year we experienced unresolved issue after unresolved issue; leaking windows, sound issues, smoking indoors, vaping indoors stylists (our neighboring stylist vaping in between her clients more than once a day) and patrons outside of our clients to the point of a signed petition. As well as a letter of noncompliance filed to corporate and ready to file with the DBPR and Board of Health. Violating the Florida Clean Air Act and being told in response to our smoking concerns and concerns for our clients health: “It’s just a hair product”, “She’s nice, you should introduce yourself “, “You have no rights”, “Can no longer report issues in the issue center”, “We will take no further action “, “The issue is resolved “ , “Im the regional vice-President, I am Corporate”. Just to name a few (all documented). They need to be stopped, fired and prosecuted. Danielle (Business Manager) stops every complaint before reaching the president to cover her tracks and poor business ethics. Her assistant Tiffany is equally useless in complying with any resolution practices or solutions. Absolutely the worst people to deal with we have experienced in our combined 50 years as professionals.

Great concept to give salon industry professionals a place to work with lower overhead. Recently updated and very clean and professional.

Melissa and Roberto are fabulous. My wife and I come in together and we get to have a great conversation with our two buddies together, and leave with fantastic hair together. It’s one of the things I look forward to the most each month. But not just the social aspect, they’re professional, timely, schedule right at the end of the cut, and the payment is super easy. I know that’s all the stuff that /should/ happen every time, but it seems to be rare here in Florida. We both really appreciate their hard work and look forward to working with them for a really long time!

Salon Owners be warned! Do not trust your money or business here. Salon Lofts and Danielle Haefele, the leasing manager, is untrustworthy. This company is the worst place for business owners because of the childlike, rude, unprofessional management and unlawful conduct. There were several issues during the 4 years my business was there. Or should I say around $80,000 in rent that was paid in this time. They put myself, my husband (who also worked with me) and my clients in danger and cared nothing about it. They guarantee you a safe and quiet environment in the contract. Well that was far from what you will experience. About half of the other businesses in there like to gossip about everyone and everything. It was caddy and unmanaged. If you are not in the click of bad eggs, you will be talked about and eventually leave. My first year, a gym moved in next door 2 weeks after signing the contract and our walls were shaking from the music and medicine balls being bounced off the opposite side of the wall. To the point my clients would ask if there was a party going on. After multiple months of complaints they supposedly put in soundproofing which did nothing. The noise was so unbearable and gave people headaches and anxiety. Nothing was done except they offered to put in a ceiling (in this open loft, noisy concept). Loft 3. I agreed since it might help hinder the noise. Nothing was done. Then a few months in, another business owner who is known for being loud, rude and drinking during her shifts was talking so loud on her phone about unprofessional details, that I stepped into the hallway and asked her to keep quiet as I had a brand new client in my chair and didn’t want to hear what she was talking about. This owner flips out on me (in front of my new guest) saying she has been here longer and she can do what she wants and she will contact her lawyer… At this point I close my loft door in her face and lock it to protect myself and my new customer (who never came back) from this harassment and unprofessionalism. I contacted Danielle immediately after I was done working, stating that this was absolutely not ok and that something needed to be done. Supposedly corporate sent a letter to this owner to behave. Nothing was done. This woman still works there to this day. Eventually, I just started looking for a new location. After 3 month of negotiations with another location that didn’t work out and my lease coming up, I decided to move across the hall at Salon Lofts to a double suite. This was double the cost but I thought would be worth it just to have a quieter, bigger space for my business that could keep growing. Within a few weeks of being in the new double loft, my window was leaking and it was literally raining inside my room. Multiple issues were placed with Danielle and corporate. Supposedly they fixed it but nothing was done. The window leaked for the entire 2 years I was in that room (loft 21) with multiple videos and complaints of issues. They didn’t care about the expensive extensions hanging in my room that could be affected or any of my belongings being damaged from water. Then moved on to having daily issues of other owners and their clients smoking inside the building. We smelled vaping constantly. Both my husband and I talked with Danielle and was told to place it in the issue center because she can’t do anything. After months of this happening, we were told to stop complaining and there is no issue. I wrote corporate, sending an email with details, text messages and issues that Danielle was not doing her job, the contract was not being abided by and the law was not being followed (FL Clean Air Act). We went as far as having our clients sign a petition to say they smelled smoke/vaping during there appointment. Danielle text me back saying she saw the corporate email, that there was no need for the petition and that she had become the regional vice president now and nothing will be done. To stop complaining and we would not be able to get out of our lease for lying about complaints. DO NOT INVEST WITH SL.
