From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. best nail technician in homestead - incredibly skills. My nails turn out absolutely gorgeous – the finish was flawless. Plus, the attention to detail was impressive! I also appreciated the range of nail care offered. I left feeling pampered and refreshed.

Had a terrible experience the day before Mother's day. I had made an appointment with Lisette 3 weeks before that day for 4:45pm. I get there and the receptionist as well as Lisette tell me that she's very busy and for me to come back around 1 hour. The salon was full of people and so I didn't mind leaving and returning. I returned to the salon 1 hour and 15 minutes later to give Lisette time as courtesy. When I get there the receptionist tells me that Lisette was still busy working on someone she already had on her chair plus another person that was waiting to be next. The receptionist and another hair stylist then tried to get me to do my hair with another stylist and even though I didn't wanted to because I specifically made my appointment with Lisette, no one else was available. At that point I got upset because it was already 6pm, I had a dinner to go to at 8pm and it was Mother's day the next day. I told them I was just going to leave and the receptionist simply said "okay". As I am leaving Lisette then says for me not to leave that she can do me next and I told her that wasn't true because I was already told there was another person waiting for her and I couldn't wait any longer and I left. I understand that it was the day before Mother's day and businesses get busy BUT I had made my appointment weeks before and if they were going to go by "first come first serve" then they should've made everyone aware. I had to go to my dinner without my hair done and spent Mother's day the same way. Not returning to this salon as clearly appointments don't mean anything to them. I had done my hair 2 times prior with Lisette and in one of those times she begged me to write a good review for her in the middle of her doing my hair. I am one that doesn't like to be pressured to leave a review - she even wanted to use my phone and "show me" how to leave the review in which ofcourse I declined. Therefore I wouldn't be surprised if alot of the reviews here that use her name were actually made by her or convinced the client to let her use their phone to post the review.

I found out about Illusions Beauty Salon & Spa through an advertisement on IG. Since I was in the area I decided to try a new hair salon. Yenly was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was easy to book and she was super friendly when I arrived at the salon. I absolutely love my new color and hairstyle!!! I managed to get a mani & pedi with a full set while my hair was processing. My nail tech (Yainet) did an incredible job. I’m looking forward to my next appointment in a couple months. This is my fourth time visiting this salon. My first visit was to cut my hair. After giving birth I wanted something refreshing so after talking to the owner, we decided to go short. She explained everything in detailed and listened carefully to my needs. Yenly is super nice and kind. After that, I started to do my hair with Yanelis. I get balayage done as well as haircut and it never dissapoints. The color is beautiful and it never turns orange or brassy. The atmosphere is really friendly. They're always joking around and talking to one another; as well as their clients. They're always engaging in conversations. This is the best hair salon in Miami by far. I wouldn't get my hair done anywhere else. Definitely a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service.
