The Best Hair Appointment I've Ever Had—Flawless Results! ​I was so excited for my appointment with Claire, and she completely exceeded every expectation. I even flew in from London for this! Dealing with two inches of root growth, Claire took the time to go over the entire process and confirm my desired look. She is incredibly caring, professional, and clearly a perfectionist. The final cut and highlights are flawless. I absolutely love the results! I'm moving closer, and I will happily be driving all the way from Denver for every future appointment.

I highly recommend Breckenridge Hair Company for bridal hair and makeup! Tonda and Natalie traveled to Leadville for my wedding and did my hair and makeup as well as hair and makeup for multiple bridesmaids and family members. They were efficient, friendly and flexible to what each person wanted. Communication was great throughout and the owner called me the week of the wedding just to make sure I was feeling comfortable with everything and answer any questions. I loved my hair and makeup by Tonda and appreciated having a trial at the salon in Breckenridge to make sure I knew exactly what to expect. I rarely wear much makeup and wanted to make sure that I still looked like me, and Tonda did a great job. Thank you Breckenridge Hair!

I work around the corner, and was able to get apmt next day after work. I asked for a Balayage, something low maintenance, and Shera did such an amazing job, that no one even noticed ;) I receive so many compliments on my hair, and she used so many foils that it really looks natural. As far as having minimal requests and seeing her confidence and results, for 200 something for the hair, 300 something after tip, and I am writing this review 4 months later, I am still happy daily with the low maintenance masterpiece. I recently had my hair colored by Laney. The final color turned out nicely, but the overall experience didn’t quite match the more upscale impression I had based on the salon’s website and pricing. Breckenridge Hair Company presents itself as a more premium, experience-focused salon, but several parts of the visit felt more mid-range in comparison. For example, refreshments consisted of what tasted like tap water served in a plastic cup. No coffee, tea, or small touches that other salons in this price range usually offer, such as a selection of beverages, snacks, or chocolates. Those little details really contribute to an elevated, boutique feel, and I was surprised they weren’t part of the experience. It was also the first time I’ve had a shampoo at a higher-end salon without a brief scalp massage, which again made the experience feel less polished than expected. Laney did explain my color options, but I was asked to make choices about things that I wasn’t entirely familiar with. In my past experiences, stylists typically take the lead so being asked to choose between technical color options felt a bit outside my comfort zone. Ultimately, she offered a recommendation, and I was happy to follow her guidance. I compared this interaction to an upscale salon I went to in Denver as well as a couple others in California and Oregon and it was just different. Not that it's a bad thing but not what I expected. The color result itself was good, and I would return in the future but with adjusted expectations. If I had gone in expecting a more general salon experience, my impression would likely have been different. Because the website branding and pricing led me to anticipate a more upscale, boutique service, the reality didn’t quite align with that expectation.
