Alice nails

Yes, I am a man posting about a nail review. As they say, an unhappy wife is an unhappy life!!! Well, after my wife & daughter left there just an hour ago, my life isn't good right now. Yes, they got the nails put on, but I got the charge on the card. She really didn't know what to say other than "I should've gone to **xe" "I'm pissed" and frankly I don't know what to say either, because I don't do nails. She won't be going back, not because I've told her not to, because she thinks it's crap work. I'll just agree with what I see, feel free to judge the pictures I'm posting as well. Alice Nails....definitely NOT Alice in Wonderland when it comes to simple plain quality nails for $65...

I've never been more disappointed in a service as I am from here... Me and a couple of others went for pedicures and two of us got manicures also.. Judy the owner did mine and was on the phone the entire time( personal not customers)..she never greeted me asked me any questions nothing!! When she was finished I got charged $5 more than it was supposed to be then asked me if the remainder of the cash was her tip!! I sat there for a while while my nails dried and was told I was good to go,with in 5 minutes my polish smugged , and later that night I noticed she never did anything with my toes( cutting the cuticles) ad u can see in the pictures And on some nails the polish didn't even cover all of the nail... When I called the next morning I was told there was no guarantee on nails being done.. the next morning my mom said that her polish on her nails came off some of them and the only thing she did was a few dishes in dawn lol.. The owner said to come in and show her I said I didn't have time because I was at work and she hung up on me.. Thought I'd take a chance and try them.. I'll be sticking to going to Regal Nails where when you pay $60 you get your moneys worth

If I could rate this a 0, I would! I will never go back. First the man doing my nails wanted to do an overlay. I told him I didn't want that. I want what I usually get. He continued to argue with me until he was told by Judy to do what I asked for. He cut one thumb nail tips so short he couldn't shape it (almond) like the rest of the nails were supposed to be (not even close). I asked him to redo it and he told me that it was my finger shape and it's fine. I repeated that I wanted it taken off and redone. He finally did while literally huffing and puffing and complaining about it. He then globbed the powder so thick and uneven, it was ridiculous. I told him it was really uneven. He proceeded to tell me that he wanted to do an overlay and I told him to put on the tip, so that's what's going to happen because I'm his boss and this is his job and he knows how to do his job. After putting acrylic on all my nails (without filing or buffing), I was sent to get my toes done. They tried a design I asked for 3 different times and couldn't get it, so I went with something else and expressed that i was very unhappy with the finished look of my "design". Judy then took me back to get my fingers "finished". This is the final product. So thick and lumpy it looked like a child did my nails, not to mention they were ALL different sizes and shapes. We paid and left and went immediately to another salon to pay more to have them removed and redone because they were unfixable without removing them. Over $200 just to have my nails done because I had to pay twice. And the entire service at Alice nails started at 10am, I walked out at 12:49pm (almost 3 hours). She gave me a free bottle of lotion to "make up" for the issues but still charged me full price.

I love this place. Such care taken with each person. I will never go anywhere else. They do an amazing job. I am so happy with them. Beautiful nails.

Alice Nails is the best! Have been going here for many years- they are very welcoming! Last week I got the cutest "retro-Americana" nails and toes done. Very affordable! Judy & Alice are top notch! Thank you!!
