Dells Nails Bar

Zero stars. Never left a review ever for a nail salon however this one needs some better practices. A very sloppy polish on an overpriced pedicure, painted my skin multiple places and told me I was done. When I pointed it out they applied top coat on my skin to wipe off the excess polish. Nail top coat should not be used on skin. They never cleaned the topcoat off my skin after they did that. And never even cleaned or straighted the cuticles after the over polish. Also the pedicure itself did not seem thorough at all. Basically 46 without tip for a polish change and foot soak/rub. My 2 week old self polish looked better when I walked in than this. Never going back there.

Went to get my nails done as a spur of the moment thing while on vacation in the Dells. This was the first nail salon that popped up when I searched. When I went there, the place was sort of empty. I was taken to a chair almost immediately. Everything was very clean. I can't stress enough how spotless this place was. I was unsure about the first color I picked, and the girl who did my pedicure helped me find a color that I liked. The massage was very nice and relaxing. Then I was taken to the nail tech. I showed him the picture of what I wanted and asked if he could do it on short nails. The second he saw the picture, it was like he already knew what to do. I asked for a third coat of the white so it wasn't so transparent, and he did it without question. The designs turned out so cute! My only complaint is that he didn't fully remove my cuticles as he used a drill instead of a cuticle trimmer. He also did not paint all the way up to the nail bed, so it looks like the nails have already grown out. Other than that, I absolutely love my nails! I would definitely recommend this place! The atmosphere was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep- which is a good thing!

I simply ask the nail tech if I could have them shorted like 2x shorter then they were. I NEEDED them to be short for work as I have asked many time throughout the appointment. My friend that I had with me saw my frustration and knew that this, was not right! After my appointment I had work in a few days, and while I was at work, I had jammed my ridiculous long nail into a metal container and it completely broke the acrylic off and ripped off the top part of my nail where it then exposed the nail bedding which then bled a lot. I was completely upset and very pissed off to say the least and I will say I will never be going back, even if they are open later I don’t now care, the lack of respect for what I had asked for was completely not okay. I had also told the nail tech that if he COULD NOT do the design that I could do something else more simple. I was not going to be upset by it due to how short I was wanting to go and as a matter of fact my fingers started to burn really bad after putting the acrylic on initially. I’m also pretty sure it was the owner of that place that did my nails but regardless if you own the place or not it’s still a courtesy to listen and respect the costumer when they have asked nicely more then 7-8 times about taking the nails down and making them shorter, and when I said I was fine with a simpler solution. I also didn’t like the fact that both my friend and I became more uncomfortable as I continued to ask for the same thing over and over again. I want to give this place a 0.5 star out of 5 because this was completely terrible from any of the other places I’ve been to and therefore, I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone else and if they do go there, I hope they are treated better than I was treated because that was completely unacceptable! The First and Second Photo are how they were when I asked multiple times to make them shorter and the Last Photo is from going to a different place that actually listen. Again like I said I will never be going to DELLS NAIL BAR EVER AGAIN!! I’m still seriously upset that it broke and ripped off my actual nail..

The guy that made my nails was a trainee and i thought he did them pretty well but not even a week after and my polish is chipping off and i tipped him 18 %. P.S. i went to the salon so they can redo them and they turned out great. I am so happy.

I booked an appointment for a dip manicure, I have had plenty of these in the past, so I know exactly what the process is like. Went in, picked a color. Nail tech gets out container for acetone pours it in, gets the brush, as if he was doing acrylic. That’s exactly what he did. He took the dip powder and applied it the way you apply acrylic. I get the dip because I don’t like the smell nor the feeling of the acrylic. Any who, I just minded my own business. Was willing to deal with it. Then we get towards the end, the acrylic wasn’t applied thicken enough there were spots on my nail missing color, so he took the dip powder color and found matching gel to top it off with. I ended up walking out of the salon LIKE THIS. Very disappointed, honestly would have rather gotten refunded. Called back and they asked me to come back in they would fix it. I have little kids and don’t just get time to stop back in. When I make an appointment my time is valuable and that’s what I have to get my nails done. I shouldn’t have to come back in for things to be fixed. Will not be returning.
