Nails For You

I had an appointment today at 10:00. No one showed up to open the door until 10:15. Apparently they forgot. The owner was not very concerned about this and certainly didn’t attempt to make me feel confident. The person who did my nails was very rough, went way too fast, and my polish was sloppy. I had polish all over my toes. Please see “cleanliness” below. None of this was acceptable. All of this was very surprising because they get good reviews. I hope they were just having a bad day. But I won’t be back.

Oh my god they are so amazing! First of all, it’s family owned and they are all so kind and patient. Second, I showed them what I wanted and they helped me make it happen, they do beautiful work! I’m happy about the price point. They’re wonderful people and their work is incredibly fast and pretty!

I just recently moved to Mount Vernon and have been having a hard time finding a good nail salon. I’ve tried multiple salons up here but unfortunately none of them worked out. I found nails for you and read through their reviews and decided to give them a try. WOW! I wish I had found them sooner. Kim did an amazing job and she was so helpful with explaining the different options I had to get exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be a regular here now. The customer service was exceptional and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you so much :)

The people who own and work this shop are kind, extremely talented with nails, and very clear about pricing. It is a shop ran by a multigenerational house hold. They live upstairs and I did smell lunch for a brief moment and honestly I want whatever they were eating that day 😂 otherwise the place smelled like incense and had Frank Sinatra playing in the background. The place is beautifully decorated in an old victorian style house. I got French tip mani- pedi- for my upcoming wedding and this place is awesome! You can tell they have great procedures for cleaning equipment. The lovely woman who helped me has obviously been doing this a long time. She is an expert and every movement has been practiced thousands of times. She also checks to make sure you understand the pricing of what you want, they have a good menu they show you to pick from, she asks lif yow your nails look after she does one of them and then finishes the rest with expert precision. The massage was very nice. Not too hard, not too soft. Just relaxing and felt great. I will definitely be going back.

This nail salon is extremely dirty and unorganized and they don't do a good job. Maybe the owner does however I've never experienced her work. I will not come back.
