Tea’s Nails

I am delighted to have discovered a nail salon that excels in creating beautiful nail art and is always accommodating to my design requests. Tea's Nails has consistently and cheerfully brought every design I've desired to life, making me feel comfortable and at ease when making my requests. I am now looking forward to my fill appointments, whereas previously, I would leave other salons feeling stressed and dissatisfied.

My regular nail salon is closed for a month and my nails need refreshing. I called Tea Nails first and asked if they had an opening to remove an old set of gel extensions and put on new ones. I’ve never been here before, but they had 4.6 stars, so I thought that’s pretty good. They asked when I can come. I told them in 15 minutes ( that’s how long it takes for me to drive there). When I got there, there’s 1 customer at the pedicure station and a man and woman staff (base on other reviews, they must be husband and wife). So I explained to them what I currently have and what I wanted . They didn’tseem to understand what gel extensions are. I’m not very familiar with all the different applications or nail salon terminologies, so I just told them what my regular nail tech calls it. They said they don’t use it and that they only have acrylics, and that was fine with me. The husband started to grinding down my nails, then soaked my fingers in acetone. Another customer came in, so he left me and went on to give the man a pedicure, and left me for 30 minutes, cane back to check and left me for another 25min. Then proceeded to grind the rest of the old filling. He didn’t even bother cleaning or prepping my nails , then he was about to proceed to attach the tips. I stopped him and asked to clean my nails first and remove the cuticles. They both seemed to be surprised that I asked! So he somewhat clipped and “cleaned” some more , which didn’t make a difference. They were jagged and messy, and was going to attach the tips. The wife said that if I wanted my nails cleaned first, it will be a manicure ($25) PLUS the acrylics (at least $55). I finally said forget it, I’m just have a manicure thinking I’ll just wait for my regular salon/nail tech to be back from vacation. I left with dry fingers, jagged nails, unshaped, cuticles hanging about, not even a clear polish on them and charged me $35. Im usually a generous tipper , I leave 50% of my total. Definitely not for this one. But I was still gracious enough to leave a tip. TERRIBLE, AWFUL service and quality! I’ve had other bad experiences at a few other places, but this is THE WORST! I’m never going back there. That’s for sure. The first photo was when he was about to put new tops on. The second photo was the “finished product”. You be the judge.

This place amazes me everytime. If you have not indulged yourself with the Volcano Spa Pedicure, you need to get one. It is such a regenerating, relaxing experience. The fresh fruit, the steam, the one on one attention. This is a must. This treatment feels like no other treatment I have ever had in a Salon. My husband and I have been going here for years and they just get better and better. This is the abosulute best Spa experience in cowlitz county.

I love coming to Teas Nails!! Very affordable price & good work from Tea!!! Only place I would get my nails done.

The owners were so wonderful and took their time with our nail art! It was so nice and my best friend and I loved our results!
