ACT 1 SALON & SPA " A Premier Place"

Unless you are ONLY getting a blow out (with not thick hair) then this place isn’t for you. I’ve came here for years until i realized getting charged extra $45 for a thick hair was insane….but then again I came back for a curly cut worse mistake of my life.They are not equipped to do anything except blow out thick course hair. The stylist when finished with this atrocious cut expected me to leave the salon WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PRODUCT IN MY NATURAL 3C/B HAIR. I asked about maybe a leave in conditioner so i didn’t leave the salon looking like a cotton ball….she “activated” my hair but racking and ungodly amount of eco gel through it. Then proceed to ask me if it???? So disappointed. Won’t be back.

Act 1 is a beautiful salon! Everyone there is so friendly, and Bella did an amazing job on my hair. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I want to start off by saying I made an appointment with Bella and that is not who blew out my hair/flat ironed it. Prior to my appointment I called the shop to make sure my appointment was with Bella as I was referred to her. Staff confirmed that my appointment was with Bella. When I walked in everyone stared and no one said anything. Eventually stylist greeted me a walked me to the shampoo bowl. The individual who shampooed my hair was very nice but clearly didn’t know how to work with my hair texture as she struggled to detangle my hair while doing a deep conditioning treatment. As I was sitting under the blow dryer, Bella came back to talk to the lady shampooing my hair multiple times and they would look over at me. I can tell it was a conversation of who was going to do my hair as Bella did not want to. I also inquired about pricing before starting the process as was told my blowout would be 65. By the end of my appointment they tried to charge me 75 dollars My appointment was at 4:30, by the time I got done with the shampooing and deep conditioning it was 6pm. I’m assuming this is why Bella chose not to do my hair. Finally I was bought to a salon chair where I sat for another 30 minutes before someone decided to blow out my hair . I am thankful to the lady who blew out and straightened my hair because clearly Bella did not want do my hair as she looked at me the whole time . I did not leave the salon to almost 8:30pm and I got there at 4:30. I get my hair blown out and flat ironed (silk pressed) Every two weeks and it never takes more than two hours. These ladies clearly do not specialize in my hair type, and I will not be back. Again, thank you to the lady who did take the time out to do my hair because clearly no one else wanted to .

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARTS I WOULD !!!!10/10 DONT recommend this place at all! So many issues I had here I spent all day trying to get my nails my feet hair and eye brows done and I left with hair I didn’t ask for and very unhappy with ! I stopped them from doing my manicure because she didn’t know how to work with real nails and had me in a pedicure chair doing my nails holding my arm up even when my pedi was done ! The girl doing my feet was on the phone the whole time and when she was done I looked at my feet and my nails was crooked, skin still peeling off my feet and white polish on my toes !!! The water was cold had to ask her to warm it up! The hot rags were cold cus she waited to long to put them on my feet after taking them out the warmer and even after I tried to calmly and collectively tell the manager they STILL TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR EVERYTHING! I ended up only paying for my hair that I took out as soon as I got home cus the back was so loose ? I’m honestly so frustrated I spent a whole day here for nothing! TRY MAGIC NAILS! They fixed me up in no time !

Just moved in the area last year and been looking for a salon that can handle my type of hair (thick and curly). My first time here and I am so happy to have found this place. I haven’t had my hair blowout and flat iron like this in a long time. My stylist was nice and friendly. All the ladies are nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend this salon.
