Me, Myself & I Nails

I walked in around 11:30 on a Tuesday after my normal nail salon was closed. Though they were busy (and seemingly had appointments back to back!) Gigi called in another employee and managed to squeeze me in. I had a rough idea of what I wanted, but pretty much gave them the freedom to do whatever they wanted -- so long as they were fun. I ended up with unicorn nails! I couldn't be more thrilled. While she was doing the nail art, Gigi and I began brainstorming what my next set would look like. Guess I'll be back in a month for round two! If you want nails and nail techs with personality (and a woman-owned business to boot) don't skip out on Me, Myself & I Nails.

The owner thuy is no longer working at this establishment and sold it to new owners. I was told that I could keep my appointment and that the new artists would be experienced and I’d be in good hands. Walking in to my 1 pm appointment, there was only one nail tech and she told me she was a novice at nail art and they weren’t even supposed to be open that day. She told me she was comfortable doing a simple design but offered me to come back a different day if I wanted to. I told her I was going out of town and was open to a simple design. I wanted red nail polish with some flowers and some nail stickers that I brought in with me. She proceeded to remove my old gel and I noticed she was very slow. By the time she got off my nail polish and filed my nails. An entire hour had already passed. She asked me to pick a color from a booklet and I picked one but she said she could not find any of the colors because the colors were not organized. I got up and physically helped her search the shelf for a white or red color. Finally we found a red color and her 2 pm walked in. She turned and said to me under her breath, “you couldn’t decide on a color so now I’m going to cut your time short and not do your design”. I was very taken aback by this comment as it took her forever to remove my old gel and it wasn’t on me for the bottles being mislabeled. I was so upset and didn’t want incomplete nails so I told her that I would leave and she didn’t have to paint my nails. She told me I had to pay her 30 dollars for the “manicure” she did and also went on about how I shouldn’t have let her work on me if I wasn’t comfortable. It was wild because i did not expect a nail polish removal to take 1 hr and to be blamed for mislabeled bottles. I paid her 30 dollars and tipped and realized that she even left lingering nail polish on my nails. 30 dollars wasted. Rude service, I would advise Thuys old regulars to not come here. You can see the left over glitter on my nails in the photo. Wow and it looks like now they’re faking reviews. in the span of a couple of hours, multiple 5 star reviews talking about how they’ve been going here for awhile when the ownership just changed in February 2024 💀 save your money people.

I feel like this pic doesn’t do it justice. Let me tell you though, Thuy is amazing! She’s definitely the type of nail tech you’re looking for, friendly and good at her job. Her pricing is super reasonable too. I will definitely be recommending her to everyone I know.

She is amazing! A hidden gem in the area. You will not be disappointed! Properly priced and the quality of service is superb. You do need to make an appointment as she does not accept walk-ins, but she can usually accommodate appointments sooner rather than later, and it is totally worth it. I will not be going anywhere else for my manicures.

Best nail salon in pflugerville. You have to have an appointment but they are always on time. They don't use harsh drills and so far my nails have been perfect each and every time. The owner is always creative with her nail art. Clean and very nice place. Got some nail art from thuy, she is the owner for my birthday. I got the some ut art and she nailed it! I have received so many compliments! Check out the pictures...amazing!
