The Nail Bar

I unfortunately had a bad experience and I am disappointed. I needed to get acrylics off my hands and a regular mani/pedi. I saw they close at 8 so I called before going at 6PM and was told I could be serviced at 6:30. When I arrived at 6:33, the receptionist was very nice and welcoming, she told me I was going with the male technician. The male technician was in a rush from the moment I went to him but I didn’t think much of it since some people work fast but do a great job. That wasn’t the case here, he quickly filed down my acrylics with an electric file, hurting my nail bed a couple of times and then had my put both hands in a small bowl of acetone so I was literally crossed over one side the entire time in the pedicure chair, couldn’t even relax. He rushed through my feet, cut one of my toes and didn’t even buff out my feet only the heel a little bit. He then rushed me to the manicure chair where he quite literally took maybe 20 minutes doing my “manicure”. He cut one of my cuticles, hurting me, as well and I’m pretty sure he was cutting with the same clippers he had just used on my toenails. The nail polish was dried out and he struggled with it and left my nails lumpy and then didn’t even bother to clean them up. I paid and tipped $20 because that’s all the cash I had. I left at exactly 7:27 meaning I got acrylics taken off and a “manicure chair where/pedi” in less than an hour. This was a very disappointing experience and I really don’t think I’d return. I understand wanting to go home but then close earlier or don’t accept clients at 6:30 if an hour and a half isn’t enough time to actually take your time and do a good job. Worth to note that the other technicians did seem to take their time and do things right- the lady next to me had foils on her fingers vs the small bowl I had to have my hands in

The first time I came here, I was a bit disappointed. I was nervous to say something, but once I did, the owner Kay did everything to make it right to me and I am definitely making this my regular spot. Kaitlyn did my set this time and she did an AMAZING job. She really has fine tuned her expertise. The shaping is consistent across all of my nails and they’re super smooth, which can be hard to achieve with builder gel sometimes. This place really cares about the customer and for that alone I would give them 5 stars. I couldn’t be happier with how they handled the situation, it’s rare to come by that kind of customer service these days. Kaitlyn was so great and I can’t wait to keep seeing her!

I know a lot of the ladies in there who've been doing nails at the nail bar for quite some time. They are always very warm and welcoming showing so much love when greeting me in. Coming from a former nail tech, myself, of several years, Ra has been my go to girl ever since I quit doing my own nails. She's the only one I ever let touch my feet besides me. I never really gave anyone else a chance. But I know the Nail Bar has some of the best nail stylists in town. Great atmosphere, music, massage chairs and people. You never want to leave!

This was the first time I have been into a nail salon for my nails after a long time. Probably the best experience I’ve had in a while. Staff was super friendly and helpful. My nail tech, Chris, was very caring, detailed in her work and transparent. The pricing made sense out of all the different nail salons I have tried over the years, with amazing quality and value for money. Definitely recommend! Going back to Chris from now on! 😊

Angela is WONDERFUL! I Love coming to the Nail Bar for my pedicures. I recently had dip done for an upcoming wedding and Angela is not only professional, but so kind. I love coming here. The place is also very clean which really matters to me.
