I received a pedicure from Kaitlyn, and I really must say, it was such a nice treat! :D She is super friendly and made my feetsies feel and look very nice. I normally never get pedicures, but I actually want to get more now because I am so happy with my experience here! I also want to mention that the staff in general are super friendly. I will definitely be booking for more services here. :)

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt compelled in this case because I’m so dissatisfied. My stylist, Paige, was very friendly and nice so this isn’t a personal attack, simply a critique of my results. I came in for the first time to get an all over color. My natural hair has some greys at the hairline and is maybe 2-3 shades lighter than the dye I like. I requested an all over dark brown with neutral or cool undertones. I always specify neutral or cool because I HATE warm red and orange undertones, they don’t look good with my complexion. Well, I ended up with my worst nightmare… initially after the first round of dye, my roots and first inch of hair was a bright orange color (attached picture). I’ve never had this happen, I don’t know if it was the brand of dye or what but it was pretty bad. She tried to correct this with a root smudge so my roots matched the rest of the dark brown hair, and it fixed it maybe 50%. I still have an inch of roots that don’t remotely match the rest of my hair color. I came home and cried I was so disappointed, I lost a lot of hair after covid so I’m very careful with what little hair I have left and this is a pretty devastating blow. This is the 2nd salon in town that can’t seem to manage a simple all over color that’s ONE color! How hard can that request possibly be to want to have the same color from root to tip?? Needless to say I’ll be making the drive to Eugene or Corvallis from now on, the stylists in this town have been sadly lacking.. attached are before the attempted correction then after.

My experience at Hair Co. was one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing salon visits in my 54 years. As an outdoorsy person with little salon experience and a medical condition that can flare up under stress, it took immense courage to try hair, nails, eyelashes, and eyebrows here for the first time. Most services were great, and I regularly got my nails done with the same technician. She recommended her friend at the salon as a new hair stylist, so I decided to try her; which was a big move for me. It was a horrible experience. I’ve always loved ash, white, or icy blonde with subtle lowlights and explicitly requested cool-toned highlights, as I strongly dislike warm, honey, or brassy shades. I emphasized this clearly, as it’s the one thing I’m confident about in salons. The stylist, without consulting me, first used a strange curling tool on my finished hair, leaving my hair in tight, unfamiliar ringlets that obscured the color. I was too self-conscious to run errands afterward, lacking the excitement of a fresh salon look. Brushing out the curls revealed a dull, honey-colored blonde with brown lowlights—lifeless and far from my request. My 12-year-old daughter even asked why my hair looked brown. Devastated, I canceled a weekend of July 4th holiday plans, feeling it clashed terribly with my appearance. I had texted the stylist several times asking her what on earth had happened to my hair, how distressed I was, and how soon could I possibly get help. The stylist’s only response was to suggest purple shampoo "my dear", ignoring my distress. Other staff offered sympathy, but no one could fix it before the holiday. A follow-up appointment was made the following Monday, and I was so nervous to attend it - hoping that the stylist would be kind and understanding. From the minute she met me at the door, I could feel her coldness and what undoubtedly was anger at me, the client! She corrected the color to an acceptable ash blonde, but the stylist's only curt words were to insist that I’d chosen warm tones—a claim I firmly dispute. The tense silence made me so uneasy, to the point of tears, that I asked my husband and daughter to join me off to the side in the salon for support. I was so unnerved and saddened by her anger that I actually had to ask her if she was going to do something purposely to hurt my hair right then in response to my devastation. She only answered that she had to protect her work and reputation. There was not a single word or gesture that acknowledged what I had experienced. At my next appointment, my usual nail technician sadly was noticeably cold and filled with uncomfortable silences after the hair stylist interrupted our nail visit to comment on my color. I felt unwelcome and dismissed, like my concerns didn’t matter. Despite liking some staff, I no longer feel comfortable returning for hair or nails. This was a heartbreaking salon experience.

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff. Beth did a wonderful job on my perm and made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely go there again!

Michael Aubrey is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had! His attention to detail, precision, and skill are top-notch, but what truly sets him apart is the experience he provides. Every time I sit in his chair, I know I’m going to walk out looking sharp and feeling confident. Beyond his incredible talent, Michael is an even better person. He’s genuine, personable, and always makes you feel welcome. His professionalism and passion for his craft are evident in every cut.
