Miracle Nails and Spa

I have found my go-to nail salon in Portland! The attention to detail is unmatched. Kelly did such a good job on my gel manicure. She checked in to make sure I liked the length, the shape, the color. She filed my nails and checked them one by one to make sure both hands were symmetrical. It was also so efficient. I was in and out in one hour. Seriously the most precise and perfect manicure I have ever gotten. The salon itself was very clean and the bathroom was immaculate. They also had a variety of colors, including my personal favorite, jelly nails! I seriously can not recommend coming here enough. The staff was so kind and was making sure everyone was okay! Definitely make an appointment though because they are busy.

I’m very disappointed in my experience at this salon. I’ve been getting my nails done for well over a decade, and I’ve never had such a difficult experience. I had my nails done a little over 1 WEEK ago. The gel is already lifting and some of it has come off. If you look closely at my nails, the application is so uneven, you can tell how sloppily it was done (thumb photos). You can actually see my nail bed under the polish on all of my nails (can’t see in the photo). I had to have a 10 min conversation with my nail tech on how I wanted all of my nail lengths to be even. Never in my life have I had to have a lengthy discussion (or any discussion at all) about why I want my nail lengths to all be the same. The answer I was told was, “I can make each of your nails the same to the corresponding nail, but I can’t make them all even to each other.” So my index fingers will be the same, thumbs, ring, etc BUT the two hands can’t be the same?? My nail lengths had 2-3 cm differences on each other….i was shocked. I also could not get the nail shape I requested. I did not want almond, I wanted a pointy rounded shape that I showed her a photo of several times but was ignored and said she couldn’t do that either. I also requested a French orange tip, but realized that she couldn’t do that either. I was so frustrated that I just took what she could do. Paid $60!!!!!! And left. I went home and evened my nail lengths out, filed them to a more reasonable shape but still not what I wanted, and after a week, they are already chipping. I am so disappointed. This was my one moment of self-care during a very busy work season and it was even more added stress. I will not be coming back here again. And the polish is already dull. I take very good care of my nails and they usually last me more than a month.

These nails were the worst nails I’ve had. The first three pictures are from this nail shop and the last two pictures are from another shop I went to that SAME day, because I could not keep looking at these horrendous nails. This was my third time coming back to this place and will not be a costumer anymore. Look at the difference in nails, the first nails look like buck teeth. I’m not sure which lady did my nails, but she rushed my nails and did not shape my nails to the shape of my natural nail. I 100% recommend to go somewhere else to get acrylic nails. One thing I will say is the young lady who did my toes (which was different from my nails) did a great job!

This is my 2nd visit. The first one was awful and i waited an hour past my appnt before anyone helped me, but at least the artist did the nails blend correctly. They asked me to try again and I did. I figured they'd try hard to make up for last time. They called and asked me to come in early. I did. Although I was immediately sat, my artist was the one in charge of customers so she was CONSTANTLY up and down up and down checking ppl out and in. Ppl came in after me were already done. She didnt have the polish I wanted but we went with the closest thing. She must have dipped my tips (Gel x appnt) in 4 different white dip powders before pulling out what looked like eyeshadow from Temu, to paint the tips white. 8ve never seen that before. I told her they were too light and I wanted darker. She said it would get darker with more layers. It was almost WHITE. Then she scratched the top polish to make it look blended but it looks like my nails are scratched to hell . I was clearly upset. I kept saying it wasn't what I asked for but that we can keep going. It was too late. Even the lady next to me was upset with her set. I'm exhausted from trying. I pay good money to have a good experience. This isn't it. They are nice enough in there but if you can't keep schedules and can't do what the customer is asking.... don't take the appnt. So much for Anniversary nails :(

I loved the way my nails came out. They were very polite and took their time with shaping which I greatly appreciated. They also didn't sand down half my natural nail away which is a huge plus. Overall, very happy with the nails and experience for a great price! I will definitely be coming back
