Extremely disappointed with my lashes. This was my first time at The Extensionist and my 2nd time ever getting lashes done. I told my tech Kelsie this as well just so she knew I'm no lash expert. The inspo picture I showed her vs what I left with were nothing alike. The whole purpose of showing an inspo pic is to get the exact same work done unless otherwise stated. I showed her my inspo pic. She asked me what I liked about it and if I liked the length and thickness to which I said yes. 2 hours later, I opened my eyes and I was in shock. I told her it looked nothing like the picture. I showed her the picture again and said "I liked the different lengths". She said "this is why I asked what you liked about the picture". Everything Kelsie...I liked everything about the picture that's why I showed you. At NO point did I say have the same length and thickness throughout. I didn't realize I needed to spell out every part of the inspo pic. Why even ask for an inspo pic if you do the opposite? She then says something like "this is a learning experience when communicating to your tech in the future". I paid and left it at that but still sad about my experience. I was getting my lashes done for my wedding but I will not be walking down the aisle like this. I expected a better experience from a professional tech and maybe some more guidance. If you are confused, then maybe ask your client more clarifying questions. It's very easy to say "Here's what we can do to achieve this look". If as a professional, what you're understanding from your conversation will NOT end up looking like the pic the client is showing you, you need to speak UP. You're the expert there.

Anna does such an amazing job and she get bonus points at how sweet she is. Anna has a light hand while do lashes, I usually get volume. When I took a break from lashes for a bit she recommended a lash lift which I loved it! Did a great job at threading my brows and tinting them. My anklet, as permanent jewelry, lasted an entire 8 months! Annnnd let’s not forget the teeth whitening, way cheaper the than a dentist, I didn’t have any tooth sensitivity and were noticeably whiter after one treatment. 10/10 for this lady specifically.

I was very hesitant to get my lashes done because I’m not a very girly person. I don’t wear makeup unless it’s just mascara or a very special occasion. I was tired of wearing mascara honestly and wanted to not have to mess with it and just be able to wake up and go basically. I’m so glad I did! I didn’t have a clue what I wanted either. Kelsie explained everything and helped me choose what I wanted them to look like. I was going for a natural look but longer and fuller. She did that and chose the length and everything she thought I’d like since I had zero clue and I love them! I’ve kept up with them every since.

I had my brows threaded by Anna and she did such an incredible job!!! She was very patient with me, despite me having her stop 100 times (due to me being a wimp and needing a break lol 😅) she didn’t make me feel bad or get impatient which I greatly appreciated since that’s been an issue at other places in the past. My eyebrows also grow uneven and at a different shape - it has taken me YEARS to master how to shape them so they look even with makeup - no one ever listens to me and does by brows how I request BUT ANNA DID!!!! For once, my eyebrows looks amazing after being professionally done!!! And they looked incredible with makeup too!! I was very impressed to say the least! 10/10 would recommend!! At a separate appt with Anna I did brow tinting which turned out amazing. It was my first time, I expressed my concerns about my brows being “too bold after the appt”. Anna was quick to explain the process in detail and what I could expect which helped relax me and feel confident doing the tinting (after all, it IS my face and I can’t really hide it lol) - TRUST THE PROCESS btw!!!!! As a blonde with very thin and unevenly colored eyebrows, naturally, this was a great service to help in making my eyebrows more visible and prominent. I normally go in with a taupe brow makeup and shape, fill in and add color but the brow tint helped out a lot in not having to do so much color adding. Anna did a great job explaining that I was going to “look a little crazy before it looks good and all the big/bold color will wipe away” and thank goodness she explained it all in detail before we started lol I loved them!! Overall Anna does an excellent job! She is very kind and personable. Anna has never made me feel silly for asking a question. She is more than willing to explain. I have been with her for several years!
