Kim's Nails

I am taking back my second star and putting a one star, due to the insult of the owner. “Get your locations right before you make a review” mind you I was a walk in, of course I wouldn’t be in the books, and for one I do have the right location, and for two, I went to Miami nails to get them fixed from the hideous work Kim’s husband did. (Had to pay another 65$ but worth it) let me just show you guys the before pick which was from Kim’s and the after which was from Miami nails. Will never come here again and do not recommend! Go to Miami nails or someplace else instead of this joke! Location is Bartlesville, the one I am making this review under!

Been to Kim's twice. Was very pleased each time. Everyone there is so nice & they really know what they're doing. They always make sure you're happy with the results before you leave, from length & shape to color choice. Kim will always be my go-to lady. Thanks again! 😁

They do not care about your nails. This place is horrifying. This lady practically ripped off my old acrylic. Some nails more painful and less cooperative then others. When she couldnt rip the nail off, she proceeded to file them down so much i could feel it burning. Im not sure if they are attempting to cut costs by removing the nail in such a way, but wow! She did not either understand what i was requesting or care to listen to what i was requesting. Because aside from the color(which i picked) the length and the shape arent anywhere like the photo. Not to mention how misshapen they all are(examples being-one corner rounded the other square, tops all crooked, some of them with a rounded sides, some of them with straight, all of them different lengths) The length she initially cut was pretty good. But she filed them so much they ended up being significantly shorter than the first initial length. The heart she painted wasnt even fully dry when she put on the final coat. So the suppose to be WHITE nail has this dark coat streaking down it. I have been here before a few years back and had no issues. Enjoyed my experience. I should've gone to the last place I got them done at. Because at least their work was a lot closer to what i wanted. And i was relatively pleased with it. And I could say I got what I paid for. But i didnt want to spend that much this time. So I chose a new place. Even googled "easy valentine's nails." Hoping to save on cost even just the slightest. I paid $100 for a full set that resembled what i was wanting. This time at Kims, i paid $85.00 for nails i absolutely hate. And an awful experience to go with it. When i complain to the guy about the job when i came to get a nail repaired because it had snapped due to the lady's negligence when gluing the tip on, he said the cost would go up because of the length I initially wanted if they were to redo my nails. Arent all the tips the same length until they get cut? MORAL OF THE STORY- you get what you pay for.

I had an amazing experience at Kim’s nails! I live out of town, but was here visiting family. I had a manicure and pedicure by a gentleman whose name I didn’t catch. I am very happy with the look as well as the careful cleaning on my cuticles! It didn’t hurt which is unusual for me! I had a gel manicure on natural nails. The massage was great and I left feeling very relaxed. *picture was taken two days after the manicure

My nail tech Lily was exceptional. Nice clean work & very polite & sweet, despite her limited English. She made a strong effort to communicate. My only issue was with the male tech who "greeted" me when I came in. I informed him I had an appt & was 1st time there. He kind of brushed off & told me to go pick color for my dip off the wall. Again, this was 1st time there, I had no clue which wall he was referring. He repeated to me to go pick my color in a stronger rude voice. I kept my calm & verified which wall & went to pick out my color without further instructions or comments on how their process worked. I asked another lady for help & was nicely informed & seated by Lily to get nails done. I don't know who the male tech was, but if I return, I will def not be going to him. He hs horrendous people skills. The only other issue was the sample shade of my dip powder was darker than my actual result, but that wasn't a real problem for me, as Lily's work was exceptional. Highly recommend she be requested.
