Meghan, Ellen, and Paige are truly a dream team! Meghan and Ellen were our make up artists and Paige was our hairstylist for my wedding and these ladies are amazing at what they do! Everyone's hair and make up looked exactly like their inspo photos/requests and even with many happy tears and hours of dancing, we all looked amazing all day without needing touch ups! As a bride who is not typically girly or one to wear make up or hair accessories, they really made me feel pampered without feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. Our wedding day was perfect and I'm so glad we were able to start our day with Meghan, Ellen and Paige.

Not Impressed… I had scheduled Salon Noir for my wedding on the morning of October 15, 2025, to provide makeup services for nine ladies. The salon arranged for two stylists, assuring me that this would allow all services to be completed within our scheduled time. Each stylist came with a $90 travel fee, which we agreed to. Unfortunately, on the morning of the wedding, one stylist had to cancel due to illness—something outside of the salon owner’s control. However, this was communicated to me at 3:30 a.m., only hours before they were scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m. Then, at 8:54 a.m., I was informed by my contact, Amber, that both stylists were now unavailable, and they would have to cancel all services entirely because no replacements were available. In an email chain, Amber explained that one stylist had “dropped out” the week prior and the second became ill the morning of. The lack of proactive planning and communication from Salon Noir was extremely disappointing. Not only had we paid deposits for two stylists, but we were never informed that one had already backed out before the wedding day. To discover on the morning of the event that no stylists would be arriving—with no contingency plan in place—was completely unacceptable. While the salon did refund our full payment per the contract’s Impossibility / Force Majeure clause (which was expected, given no services were performed), this situation caused significant stress and inconvenience on what was supposed to be a joyful day. I would not recommend Salon Noir for any event of importance, particularly a wedding. Their lack of preparation, transparency, and professionalism left a lasting negative impression.

I would love to give this salon a 5 star rating but I was unfortunately disappointed with my stylists professionalism. I completely understand unseen situations arise, however, for only a handful of appointments I made almost a third of them were rescheduled or time changed. On top of it all, the last appointment was canceled due to her falling behind on time and she didn't reach out to attempt to reschedule. Instead, I double texted and ask when I could be seen twice. I felt as if she didn't want to actually do my hair and didn't want to try and fix the cancelation. I also felt like I tried to communicate creating healthy hair regime and it was simply brushed off and my hair does not look healthy. On the other note, I highly recommend this place for your waxing needs! Meghan is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond. She is sweet, punctual, and good at what she does! That is why I atleast gave 2 stars! I wish the stylist met my expectations because it is a beautiful salon with a lot of services to offer.

Absolutely Unacceptable Experience – Brides, Beware As the mother of the bride, I cannot overstate my disappointment and outrage at how this salon handled my daughter’s wedding day services. In the middle of the night before her wedding, she received an email stating that her entire bridal party’s bookings had been canceled—with no prior warning, no explanation, and no attempt to rectify the situation. My daughter, who rarely wears makeup, suddenly had to rush alone to Ulta on the morning of her wedding to purchase everything she needed—while her bridal party scrambled to do the same. Instead of calmly preparing for her big day, she was forced to do her own makeup as a complete novice, on one of the most photographed and meaningful days of her life. The emotional and financial stress this caused is beyond words. To make matters worse, the salon had already known a full week earlier that one of the two stylists was unavailable, yet failed to communicate this crucial information. Had they notified her in time, she could have found another vendor. Instead, they chose to overbook and prioritize profit over professionalism, leaving a bride heartbroken and behind schedule. A business that caters to once-in-a-lifetime events should have clear contingency plans in place. The owner should have stepped up, canceled her personal plans if necessary, and ensured that the bride was taken care of. Whayt good is a signed contract if the salon does not feel they have to abide by it. Instead, the lack of accountability and communication showed a complete disregard for their clients. Even after ruining her wedding morning, the salon initially tried to keep half the payment, only issuing a full refund once pressed to do so. This experience was inexcusable from start to finish. If you value peace of mind, reliability, and integrity, do not book with this salon. No bride should have to endure the unnecessary stress, tears, and disappointment that my daughter did.

Finding a new hair stylist can be hard, but Madison has been amazing! I have been seeing her for over a year now and she does an incredible job every time. Over the year we mainly did black all over color. We have now started the process of lightning it up. Each time I go in she makes my hair look exactly like the inspiration picture. I highly recommend booking with Madison for all of your hair needs!
