Anthony Vince Nail Spa | Dublin

I’ve been coming to Anthony Vince in Dublin for years and Helen is an absolute gem! My manicures and pedicures always turn out gorgeous. I seriously can’t recommend her enough!

EDIT: the company’s reply is dishonest. I wasn’t charged 128 for services I was charged $138.4. Also on the website a basic TAP set starts at $65, so clearly according to the owners math I got at least a $5 add-on that I don’t know what it was. I would be happy to show to screenshots of my statement to prove. So as they said I didn’t get any add-ons and was charged a mystery extra $15.24 plus my tip? Okay alright. And as far as addressing the issue, are you guys going to uncut my toe? How do you plan on addressing that in salon? The tech clearly noticed he cut me and moved on doing nothing. I was writing this review so you could better train employees to handle issues like that, but clearly from your response you are unable or unwilling to. So rude. Horrid costumer service. Go ahead and look at other business reviews I left. I generally love to positively uplift businesses. Now I am wondering if I should report your business because the tech cut my toe digging and cutting into the side of my nail bed, something I know that a nail tech isn’t supposed to be doing. I would be curious if all the techs there are certified, especially considering the owners unwillingness even just apologize for the issue. Which was really just the infection you gave me above all else. Original review: Got a set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. The nails look great nail just a tad too long and thick, but mostly look great. Since the pedicure seats are packed so tight they can only do one at a time (your mani then your pedicure or vice versa) the appointment took a very long time. The thing I am really unhappy with though, is that the man doing my pedicure cut into my skin. I was bleeding and now my big toe is infected and he didn’t do anything about it. No sterilizing spray or anything. I wish I had gotten up and left right there because now I hate a swollen, painful, hot red toe. I just spent $140 to basically need a doctor’s visit, so that sucks (which I think is entirely overpriced there were a lot of sneaky add-on costs not clearly displayed). Nail techs are not supposed to be digging into your cuticles and skin like that to begin with. I won’t be going here again or recommending to friends. I had a wonderful experience! I was a walk-in (but I called ahead to make sure they weren’t swamped). I was assisted by Arnita, she was super friendly and didn’t mind that I came in with terrible nails and asked to change my dip color right before we started painting, lol. I got powder dip and tips on, Arnita helped me pick out a pretty color. She was gentle with my nails and overall super cool. I would book with her again. The price was a little more than I expected, $85 base + tip. Buuuut I really love how my nails turned out. What made it feel worth the price was the customer service I received, I really didn’t know what color I wanted but was so happy with results. Give it a try if you can! (Also for anyone concerned, my nail beds feel great, the color I choose was a bloody red that looks purplish sometimes but left the red hue around my nails as I took photos less than an hour after I had them done. They are not tender. Thank you again Arnita! lol)

This was my first time here and it was such a great experience, from the phone call I made, and they were able to squeeze me in, to arriving and being treated so well from everyone that worked there, to my beautiful nails, I can’t wait to go back!

I was hoping to avoid posting this negative review but I’m barely 24 hours post basic manicure and my polish started chipping yesterday. I’ll say even when I left the salon, my nails looked like I did them- which I am not good at doing nails. Admittedly, I had just had gel color removed the week before so my natural nails were in the greatest of condition. But when I’m paying for a professional manicure I expect that they should either advise that my nails won’t hold color well or the manicure doesn’t start chipping 12 hours later. In addition, the lady doing my manicure didn’t really have the most friendly demeanor. But you never know what’s going on with people so I do not judge that Not certain I will be back. My friend who had a mani/pedi had a much better technician. He was attentive and her nails still looked amazing.
