Charles Scott Salon in Avon is my new go to Salon. My Stylist Valerie. She took her time and listened to me and made me Fabulous! The staff is very accommodating too! And it won't bust your wallet. I highly recommend

This is not a review of the salon itself. I really liked it the last four or so times I have been there. I followed my stylist to Charles Scott after working with her since 2021, and following her to three previous salons. I know she is not perfect and I still trusted her, but my experience yesterday has ruined any trust I had. It isn’t just that she completely missed a spot while applying the bleach or that she did not give it enough time AND didn’t check it before rinsing. It was the lack of integrity she demonstrated by a) trying to cover it up by giving me a weird part; b) blaming the lightener and blaming my hair, saying it was “breaking off” when I pointed out the crazy part and the spot she missed. She offered to apply more bleach but, the thing was, she had already had to touch up several spots that she noticed after rinsing the initial bleach out, so I didn’t feel it would have been wise to immediately put more bleach on. She had the salon take off $25, but it didn’t help me because I now have to go to another salon and have it retouched again. She offered to do it for me, but I don’t think I can trust her again after trying to cover it up and not accepting responsibility for her shoddy work. I understand that mistakes happen, but she should have just been up front and honest. It would have preserved—and maybe strengthened—the trust I had in her.

Went in for my first haircut in a long time and my first ever highlights recently and I have never been happier with my hair!! Melanie was my stylist and she was meticulous and talented- I cannot recommend her enough. Great salon with amazing talent ♥️♥️♥️

Had nails done by Michelle and am so grateful she saw my vision to make these beauties and she was so kind to me (a nail newbie) to offer education about care/removal/etc. The salon is super clean too - very well taken care of.

I asked for white blonde highlights and got purple hair. Do not put go here. I asked for refund after attempting to make my hair a normal color. Washing 10x didn’t work…. It is 5 days later and they still haven’t refunded $165 to me. They processed a $45 refund.
